Persuasive Essay On Gun Laws
Many youths and teenagers have lost their lives due to gun violence in the United States. Gun violence is violence committed with the use of a gun (firearm or small arm). Gun violence first started when wars began, since then gun violence became a national issue. Gun laws has changed better over the years. Why is it important for the government to make gun laws stricter? I propose by banning guns in some communities and using a less harmful weapons such as using the baton first, followed by a taser can decrease the rate of gun violence that relate to the deaths of youths and teenagers another solution I have is to have bar codes with serial numbers attached to every handgun/firearm sold so, the Police Department and other department would

After having a permit you must go through a mental background check to purchase a pistol handgun. Lastly you have to be certified to keep guns longer (Somers, 2013). Movies, television, video games and loud explicit music has an opposing impact on young teenagers conduct (Lyons,2014). The new generation is different from back in the days young boys are more aggressive and spend most of their time on the media (Leas,2014). Video games such as “ Call of Duty”, “ Grand Theft Auto”, “ Killzone 3” and “ Battlefield 3” are the most disturbing and violent games that influence those who play to be more angry and commit violent attacks (Grossman,2013). One public health threat to children in this country is gun violence. The use of a gun is one of the top three causes of death to young ones, killing twice as many children than cancer, five times many as heart disease and fifteen times more than infections (States News Service 17 Apr. 2013).
