The debate on Creation vs. Evolution is a question of human origin. Were humans just created as an outcome of intelligence, or did we gradually just evolve throughout the years as a result of many cosmic accidents? How did we get here? Does it even matter? It most certainly does matter. One’s perspectives of on morality, justice, purpose, humanity, and destination are all intertwined to our views on human origins.
Creationism is the belief that the existence of the universe and the origin of life was created by a supernatural being, that goes by countless different names depending on the religion. Evolution is the gradual progression by which different kinds of organisms developed and diversified from earlier forms. Just because one agrees with the terms that the theory that evolution specifies, it does not necessarily mean that they are an atheist or don’t believe in a superior being.
