Owning A Pet Argue I think that if you’re going to get a pet you need to think about other things first like, your children if you have any. You should wait until they’re a little more mature. When I was a kid my parents had a dog and she hated me and my mom. She would nip me scratch me skin and I was only like a newborn. We have to get rid over her eventually my dad was upset because that dog loved him and he loved her. Anyway we got another dog when my brother was two and it was Christmas so we were in the kitchen and my brother brings the puppy in from the living room upside down by his hind legs and saying.”Look mommy the puppy likes me!!” So my answer is yes you should get a dog, but you should wait till your kids are a little more mature.
