Persuasive Essay On Bears And Wolves
A congress that allows the President to permit the public to kill hibernating bears and wintering wolves are ignorant and vile people. Truly. I really wanted to make these letters respectful but, this is out of control… Literally. What is it going to take to get politicians to take the natural environment (which even you live in) seriously? Mass extinction? That’s what you’re asking for with this! Undrinkable surface and ground waters? We already have hundreds of thousands of impaired waterways throughout the US and one of them is less than a mile from my apartment. In fact, the waterway in Pecan Park is so contaminated that the dogs at my complex drink it and within less than a day begin projectile vomiting. When I reported it to local authorities …show more content…
Bears and wolves have been a VITAL component of this for 5 million years. Thousands of species depend on bears in order to survive. Bears and wolves control populations of grazing animals vastly more effectively than the average human hunter. When the grazing populations are level, the forbes populations are level, the insect populations are level, the bird populations are level, there’s less erosion on river banks, there’s… Do you get it yet? The entire environment is interconnected and depends on level concentrations of every living and nonliving thing to be in balance. The atmosphere is a beaker to a global chemical reaction. The forest is a petri dish allowing all living things to grow and survive. Do absolutely any of you make even a mere attempt to educate yourselves before signing or writing trash like the Bears/Wolves bit or the EPA shut down. That’s right Ted Cruz I’m talking to you and the rest of your offices are reading it too. I demand as a citizen of the US, as a resident of Texas, and a deep east Texas voter, as a human being of the Earth that politicians humble yourselves and admit your wrong doings to the environment AND TO

Imagine being the owner of the world’s happiest, friendliest, and most loving pit bull. The dog, which has been around since puppyhood, has been nothing but a joy to have and would never hurt anyone or anything. Now, imagine sitting on your couch one evening and hearing a loud noise. The police have just come crashing through the front door and they are here to take your beloved dog. Nothing can be done to stop them. Why is the dog being taken away? His breed was labeled as dangerous and all dogs of that breed were banned from the area.…

Pit Bull. The negative connotation commonly associated with this breed of dog was produced by society. Most people imagine an aggressive fighting dog that’s ready to attack when they think of a pit bull. Although some dogs of this breed are attached to dog fighting, the breed as a whole is not involved with the illegal violent events. One specific breed should not receive discrimination based on the bad decisions of some dogs owners. Pit bulls are the most misunderstood and stigmatized of all dog breeds and should not be seen as inherently dangerous and aggressive.…

“ 61 people have been killed by black bears while hundreds of black bears have been killed by hunters in New Jersey” Does the bear hunt really matter that much? The bear hunt isn’t necessary, and some people may not believe this but it doesn’t change anything. The bears will just keep on growing so why should we murder them for no reason while there are other ways to prevent them from hurting our people. Hunting black bears is a horrendous sport which lets hunters get lots of money for doing something wrong. When has murdering and torturing animals become a sport? What have the bears ever done to us or the hunters? They kill people because they are terrified of us. It is not their fault. When people are terrified they do the same thing. We should end the bear hunt because when we hurt bears that is…

There is a great deal of controversy concerning wolf dogs. While one group advocates the cross-breeding of dogs and wolves, another large portion of the population continues to be concerned over the breeding of wild, undomesticated animals for the purpose of producing pets suitable for close relationships with people. I readily admit that I have great temptation of the ownership of a wolf dog but am concerned of people not fully educated and experienced in wild animal behaviour, and the complicated relationship with humans. My concern is not only for the two-legged community within which the animal is expected to exist, but also with the quality of life for an animal more suited to the wild.…

If one’s family were dying off, due to poor living conditions, and there was a way to rehabilitate them was to keep them in a facility that closely resembles their homes and they were fed and cared for properly cared for, would that be a fair proposition? That is the basic idea of zoos. The zoo is a facility where animals, with descending population numbers, are cared for, rehabilitated, and usually released back into the wild. Wild animals that are taken care of properly, in places such as these zoos, are better off in an enclosure rather than in their wild habitat, for the reasons that the captive facility is always dependable, the animals are safe from hunters and poachers, and they can be bred and released back into the wild to live out the rest of their lives.…

As a society, we have made many efforts to get rid of slavery and exploitation of fellow humans. Why? This is because a life is worth much more than any money that a human trafficker gains from harming another life and taking away someone’s freedom. It is wrong to steal another person’s right to life and happiness. There are still many cases of human trafficking and slavery in the United States of America, but trafficking and abuse is highly frowned upon and will hopefully land the abuser in jail. Although it’s obvious that enslaving other lives is invidious and morally wrong, there are many sane, good people who are condoning trafficking and exploitation of innocent animals every day. There is a clear issue of anthropocentrism in our society. Why is the abuse of a human life any different than that of an animal’s? All creatures are cognizant of the pain they experience. All living things with brains can feel happiness. Growing up in a household where there was never an absence of pets I have learned that animals do have emotions, do…

Reintroduction is defined as the act or attempt to bring back a species to its known niche after being threatened to near extinction (Howard and Somers 2009). This was the case for the gray wolf population in Yellowstone National Park, as well as throughout most of the U.S. The gray wolves at one point occupied the U.S. in large numbers, but when settlers came to America, a conflict between the wolves and the settlers became apparent. The conflict was that farmers and settlers needed the land in which the wolves inhabited. Farmers were also afraid of wolves attacking their livestock. At a time when humans did not understand the importance of ecology, and minimal value was placed on nature and the environment, the only reasonable solution was to kill the wolves to the point of near…

“When it comes to pain, love, joy, loneliness, and fear, a rat is a pig is a dog is a boy. Each one values his or her life and fights the knife” (Newkirk). The debate of animal rights has been a controversy for some time and numerous people could argue that animals have no rightly value like humans do. Animals have just as much value and deserve to be treated right. Although many believe animals have no feelings, animals should have the same protection rights as humans because they are living things, are able to feel pain, and are not our sources of entertainment.…
