Persuasive Essay

For as long as I can remember I've heard many stories of life on other planets, people were determined to prove that there are aliens out there. Other forms of intelligence. There are many sightings of flying objects people believed were UFO's. The argument of whether or not aliens actually do exist is controversial and has been a hot topic of discussion for many years. Many people have come up with their own conspiracy theories as to why there are extraterrestrial creatures out there and there have been many different forms of "proof". I believe in aliens, which opens up a new world of imagination. Extreme thoughts that question how they survive and whether or not they are a threat to us are brought up all the time.
Many people believe that there is extraterrestrial life , Canadian UFO sightings reached an all-time high of 1,981 last year (almost doubling the record set in 2008), and over half of Americans believe that aliens have already visited us. They keep getting higher and higher each year as many more people start to believe in these fascinating creatures. Over the years many hints have emerged that there is life beyond planet Earth.
Although its been argued that there isn't enough hard proof of alien activity on other planets that still doesn’t stop me from believing. There have been countless pictures and videos of UFO sightings. Water is a key ingredient for life as we know it, so if there is any way that we can prove that there is water on other planets then we can possibly find organism starting to form and from that life can grow. Then there’s Area 51 in Nevada, which has long-believed to be a base for various military cover-ups of alien life. NASA scientist Richard Hoover published a paper March 4, 2011, claiming to have found fossil evidence for cyanobacteria in carbonaceous meteorites from outer space. This caused reactions to be skeptical.
Of course the media will over do the whole "aliens are coming to get us" theme. We don’t even know if
