Personality at Work
Transfer Journal #12

Improving our personality takes a lot of work and dedication. While it may take a lot of work, it can be worthwhile and fun because we are at the same time focusing our attention on improving relationships with others.
We all want to look good and be attractive to others. Having a good personality is indeed vital! This is perhaps the reason why we buy new clothes, shoes, and bags or we go to parlor for a new haircut or hairstyle. We at all cost try to improve our image and other things related to changing our appearance.
But personality goes beyond external appearance. It includes dispositions, traits, qualities, speech, and other things innate in the person.
Yes, one best way to improve our personality is to show genuine interest in people. Let’s try to discover what other people want. Knowing their likes, dislikes, interests, and beliefs would definitely lead to a deeper understanding and create better relationships with them. Admit our weaknesses. Let us not regard ourselves as perfect persons. We have strengths and also weaknesses. To improve our personality, we should admit that we also have defects. Admire our friends. Praise them for their achievements. Tell them how attractive they look. Make them feel how important they are to us. By this, undoubtedly, they will also give importance to us.

Let’s be honest and true to every word that will come out of our mouth. This will surely bring admiration, respect, and even gratitude of others. True enough, that nothing improves a person’s personality more than the respect for others and respect for ourselves.
It’s true that our personality isn’t something that is permanent; we always have the option to change it or improve it. The best way to improve our personality to a more pleasing one is to treat people the way we would want to be treated. If we want people to listen to us we also need to take the time out to listen to others. If we like to be complimented, let’s

The word personality is one of ancient roots. Based out of the Latin word, persona, this word was named after a mask or disguise that an actor would wear for a production (Feist & Feist, 2009). Such a persona would be worn by an actor in order to portray an appearance for a production that was not their own. In the current world around us, the word personality has taken on a new meaning. Rather than display the fictitious appearance of an actor, it is used to describe the actions and behaviors of an individual based on their character traits. Personality traits are a complicated web of factors that make up what we observe as the persona of an individual. When these traits come together patterns begin to emerge that take shape in the form of regular individual characteristics (Feist & Feist, 2009).…

The environment and peer pressure has a great impact on our personality changing over time. For instance when you are dealing with teenagers, they will be acting one way but when they get around their peers, they will change in either a good way or a bad way. The environment also has an impact on the personality. The reason why I believe that the environment can change ones personality is because I have seen people that lives in bad environment and they have turned out to be not very good individuals.
