I currently work full time as a Healthcare Recruiter while attending school as a Full Time Virtual College student. In addition, I take care of my adult sister who is chronically sick and has been unemployed for almost 2 years. I am unfortunate to be in a place where I can be of assistance to my sister and take care of her finanically more than 50% of the time. However, returning to school full time and paying for the cost of attendance while taking care of another adult has created a lot of financial hardship and stress.

While I am trying to find more work and remaining steadfast to my path and responsibilities, I remain grateful to find opportunities like the one your foundation is providing to students like myself. It makes me feel that

Showing people like myself who strive to work hard to make something out of there life, to beat conformity and to show that they're not just a statistic. I want to demonstrate; especially to my brother that hard work, and determination to obtain your goals will always come with a blessing. Through UA Early College, I believe the program can help me accomplish my goals of expanding my studies for my majors, prepare me for when I become a full time college student, and uplift my chances of being accepted into college after I graduate high school. The classes that UA Early College offers will benefit me to obtain the information I need to earn the degree for my majors. For instance, the principles of biology 1 and 2, general chemistry, and general physics 1 and 2 are all in which the courses that are required to aid my studies in health science to apply in the work force of dentistry. Also other courses that relates to fine arts would as well assist me for my other major in art so that I may one day be qualified to be an art director.…

Throughout my high school experience, the one memory I remember the most that helped me the most would have to be the time I interned at a local non-profit, Lettuce Live Well. I decided that I needed to encounter more challenges in my life; as if my life wasn’t challenging enough. I decided to work with a non-profit because I knew I would get all the experience I can get while getting to work head on with the local community; this was what made it all worth it. The one place that I found I can get the most experience while still connecting with the local community was an organization call Lettuce Live Well.…
