Personal Statement: Empowering The Underprivileged Population

On top of that, my professional goal in becoming a professional social worker is to help the oppressed population to promote social change. In order to achieve my goals I will empower and advocate for oppressed and impoverish individuals, families, communities, and groups. I will advocate for policy that will bring change into the system to promote social justice and social wellbeing. The underserved population face many social injustice. Advocating for policy change will bring better access to services, address social issues, and awareness about the underprivileged population.
