Personal Statement: Electronics And Communication

My zeal towards solving mathematical problems and algorithms has never faded. From my childhood, I have never scored any grade other than A+ in Mathematics, but in my secondary School, I was weak in physics. So, to overcome my weakness I have to choose my stream as Electronics and Communication as Undergraduate course at SRM University, Chennai which is a top University in Chennai. I have learned as much as I can in this stream for these 4 years. Now the time has come to focus on my strengths. Technology has improved in such a way that we can send a huge amount of data through computers around the world. You can surprisingly do a lot of good from sitting behind a computer.

I also studied subjects like ‘Embedded Systems’ and ‘Embedded C and microcontrollers’ where I have learned assembly level programming. Apart from this, I have taken extra courses in C language and Java. This gave me knowledge about basic programming and I wish to sharpen my skills in the same.
The first step to inspiration in taking this field is the incredible seminar taken by ‘NASSCOM’ in my University. They gave a very detailed explanation and the importance of Big Data. On fortunately being present at the seminar, I came to be aware of the most interesting and important facts in Computer Science. Later, I took out time from my busy schedule to learn basics in CS.
As a member of IETE (The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering), I have participated in the workshop in ‘The Internet of Things’ this made me realize how important is the communication among people. So, I have started my research on IOT and I am currently working on IEEE research paper ‘Water Level Meter for Alerting Population about
As we know that the future of the technological advancement is ‘The Internet of Things’ and ‘Big data’. I aim to find improvised techniques for processing the data after attaining enough knowledge and experience in the same field. If I combine my knowledge of EC along with CS I can do an amazing work for this world.
With a dream of becoming a Computer Science Engineer, I wish to undertake graduate studies at --- University. – is recognized internationally as a leader in---. My most important consideration for choosing--- is the world-class faculty members engaged in both research as well as in teaching field and most of the professors won teaching recognition awards.
