Personal Statement: Amplified Youth
During the last 12 months of my life, I have volunteered a substantial amount of my time in my youth group: Amplified Youth. I currently hold a position on the leadership team and I also lead the media team. 4 years ago, our youth worship team did not have a sound engineer or media team. I took on the task and I learned how to operate the presentation software as well as run the sound board. Since then, I have passed on the knowledge I gained to others and have given them an opportunity to serve and learn more about sound and media. I also currently make promotional videos and other graphics for our services with industry grade software as needed.     I love music and children; therefore I found a way to blend the two together by creating a music ministry for the children of my church and those in my community.
