There are many books of designs in these books, so this could be one of the reason why I have so much passion on all kinds of arts. My major is Graphic design currently but I am not really sure about my major in the future, I am considering to take more courses in some different fields to looking for my real interests, but basically my plan is transferring to a 4 year university after I complete the 2-year associate degree. I did many researches before I made the decision of going to community college in America. I think that transferring from Community College could be a great way to finish my bachelor degree, because it can provides more time for me to adapt the new environment. Further more, SMC is a large-scale college with a wide range of programs, students have many different kinds of choice, and the courses are quite flexible. I considered that the two of the most difficulties of studying abroad could be culture shock and language, thus I am quite looking forward to take this class to improve my English which I believe it can helps me a lot in my later study such as for writing essay or communicating with others etc. …show more content…

Hoping in this class I can learn more about writing idea and method, maybe we also can analyze and demonstrate some comparison between great sentence and general sentence. This is a fresh start for me, there will be plenty of new difficulty and challenges, but I am ready to conquer

There are often times where I as the baritone of the Morehouse College Quartet have to conduct my own personal reflective analysis of performances. During these personal reflective analysis' I have intrinsically accept my mistakes and create a plan of action to correct the mistakes to move forward to be a better member of the team. For example, when we performed at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Marietta, GA; there was a moment during our set where I completely forgot the lyrics; which in turn left my part unsung, furthermore not ensuring that the group upheld the legacy of excellence. In that moment I knew that the other members of the quartet would be upset, which they had every right to be, however I knew that I could not dwell on the mistake.…

My time at the community college was used to focus on building a strong academic foundation, specifically tutoring international students English every week as they tried to maneuver through their lives in the United States. I remember during one particular session, a Chinese exchange student told me that when she first arrived in Seattle, she was in a state of euphoria. However, her inability to communicate fluently with her peers hindered her from adapting to the customs in America. Consequently, it impeded her from making her own place in society. Another individual, who emigrated from Eritrea, confessed she was still unfamiliar with having additional resources at her fingertips. She grew up in an area where advanced technological tools,…

I currently am enrolled at Cabrillo Community College, which is, for the most part, a transfer prep college. Community College has prepared me to study at a University and I hope to continue my studies as far as I can go. As I grew up, I was interested in a wide range of subjects and never found one thing I was truly passionate about. When I started at community college, I was set on a computer science major because I knew I was computer proficient and enjoyed spending my free time figuring out programs. I struggled a great deal in the major. As I realized that I was not passionate about programming, I…

The reason I choose APUS was because I was looking to pursue my degree with the luxury of flexibility. By flexibility, I mean simply time. I know college could be a scary decision, more high school with overdue papers and stress, I’ll pass. This was because the only scope on college I had were the constant reminders of tons of useless work that goes unnoticed. The idea of being in a classroom so large the professor has no Idea I exist. I know what you’re thinking, why not a community college? Well, community college would have been great, if I had the funds. This leaves me with a loss of words as well as ways to continue my education, or so I thought. I was looking for help and my mother asked me a simple question that I thought was ridiculous.…
