Personal Narrative: The Shedd Aquarium
For my first dispatch I thought I would go to the one place I always loved being at as a kid but really ever visited, the Shedd Aquarium. Every year the Shedd Aquarium has 52 free days for Illinois residents. And this year, the aquarium said that September was free all month long. So I thought I would take advantage of this now that I live so close. On Saturday, September 16th my friends came out and we decided to head down to the Museum Campus. When arriving at the Shedd that day, I realized how lucky me and my friends were. One of my friends had reserved our tickets online so we didn’t have to wait in a line that went way past the steps outside of the building. I later found out that one of my cousins was there and she waited two hours
