Personal Narrative: The Roller Coaster Ride

Good Essays
The Roller coaster Ride Roller coaster rides are extremely petrifying, obscuring, and agitating. I remembered getting into my seat and strapped in. I can hear the buzzing of excitement from other fellow passengers, while I was terrified to expect the unexpected. I heard them talking about previous times and how thrilling their past experiences were riding roller coasters. While my stomach was twisting and turning from the nervousness. I can literally feel all the animosity as my neck hair peaks with anxiousness.
The ride slowly takes off and starts to incline. My ears are hypnotized by the clicking of the gears while, I witness the ride slowly climb. My blood starts rushing through my body when I felt the ride escalating higher and higher.

I sped along on my route to the coaster that stood taller than any of the others. I kenned it, then facilely with my own ocular perception; no binoculars or map needed. I fought my way through the astronomically immense crowds that wandered in the other way. A parade of colors flew past me. They casually strolled along, enjoying the warm, sunny day. My pace was brisk as I sped onward, endeavoring to beat the few following me to the job. The saccharine smell of ice cream and donuts wafted toward me…

getting ready to ride the Titan, an adrenaline pumping roller coaster ride at Six Flags. It was easily the scariest ride at the park, in my opinion, with its enormous peaks, its deep descents, and double helix like turns was enough to make me sick. The ride began. Ascending up in the car on the canary yellow track, into the humidity filled, bright sky, the people observing from below resembled little army ants . The aerial view of Dallas was breathtaking, as I reached the peak of the ride and looked…

the car. We left real quick so we could find a parking spot.I couldn’t wait to get there and ride the roller coasters, Mr. Freeze, The Boss, etc., but the one ride that I really wanted to go on was The Batman. The ride looked so awesome. I heard that you go upside down during the ride. “We’re here,” my dad said as we parked the car. I could already hear the screaming voices of the kids on roller coasters. It was like a thousand tiny hammers hitting the sides of head. They were so loud, I couldn’t…

When I was younger, I used to love going to amusement parks because roller coasters fascinated me. These beastly machines are usually made of steel or wood, can go as fast as 120 miles per hour, and reach the height of 420 feet. It amazes me why average people like me would trade the tranquility of the ground to be high up in the air, being tossed around with such brutality and roughness, like vegetables in a food processor. Even still I enjoyed riding these fast amazing machines, sometimes so fast…
