Tick, Tick,Tick went the sound of the coaster as I watched it go up the 300 foot drop. Tick Tick Tick. The screams were overtaking the sound of everything. Blood was rushing through my head as I watched the blue cart zoom around the track. My uncle trying to talk me into it.
"Come on" he said
"No", I replied
"It will be fun",he said

"Were not coming back" he said
"So" , I said
"It will be fun",he said
"How do you know that", I replied
"Uh....." He said
"See" I said
"Nevermind that" he replied
"Fine I'll come" I said

After being talked into this I asked him, “Why?” He shrugged his shoulders and said, "Eh, but you got in line no turning back.”

I now found out why he said but your head back. The cart zoomed off like it had been shot out of a cannon ! BOOM ! We zoomed down the track. The screams were terrible I felt a migraine coming. I could see everything the whole park even my parents waving. the cart was almost at the top when it started that antagonizing tick, tick, tick. I was so scared i nearly wet my pants. I was almost at the top. I said a prayer and hoped for the best. zoom i went down the track it was up and down, side to side for two minutes. I felt like i was going to hurl.
The cart was almost at the stop I was so happy it was over. i got out of the blue cart walked over to the fence and stayed there to regain my balance. "Whew it was over". Just then my uncle said," wanna go on it again"

In March 2011, I took a few days of classes and received my hunting education certification. Looking back, the actual class time is just a blur of what not to do, but I was reminded of them when I took drivers education last December, with the what not to do teachings. I also remember being very nervous about the test, but having a great feeling when I learned I passed. That October, I remember being immensely excited to go on my first hunt. The night before my dad and I left, I had a parent teacher conference and I remember getting some strange looks in the parking lot because we had a trailer loaded with tents, four wheelers, chairs, and a bunch of other stuff…

Everyone thinks that Disney World is fun but when I was 4 I thought it was scary. All of those princess’ and scary statues scared me. But the rides were even worse. I remember day after day going to swimming lessons in the summer of 2002 at the Mount Vernon pool. Almost every day I walked by the ladder that seemed to go on forever. I used to sit on the pools edge and watch the older kids do flips and other cool tricks off of the high dive. Many times I had gotten half way up the ladder but couldn't bring myself to go all the way up. For a seven year old going off the high dive was like a right of passage and a way to be seen as "cool" in the eyes of the older kids. Today I will be telling you about the first time a braved the high dive.…

The narrative, The Driver’s Seat struck home for me because I just received my driver’s license this past May, 2015. I took time for me to actually drive and to become comfortable behind the wheel of a car. This piece of writing spoke to me and allowed me to review some of the identical thinking points that I went through while getting to the point of taking control of my dad’s car. The story effectively walked me through the trials of spirit and mental anguish that preceded me in taking hold of the vehicle with my dad as the co-pilot giving directions. This was the exact thing the driving instructor in The Driver’s Seat‘ taught the author. The routine of how to maneuver and throw caution to the wind- taking risks- to get the author over…

The Fury, the fastest, longest, and tallest rollercoaster on the East Coast. With a top speed of 95 mph and a height of 325 feet makes it the biggest rollercoaster I had ever gotten on, beating the Intimidator 305 by 25 feet. I remember seeing on television and wanting to ride it really badly. It just looked so amazing and since I love rollercoasters and love riding rollercoasters, I knew it was something I had to do. I had ridden lots of rollercoasters before this one such as the Intimidator 305 and the Top Thrill Dragster, which I had enjoyed riding very much, and I figured that the Fury would be just as good. So I asked my parents of we could go to the Carrowinds to ride the Fury. They said yes and we went with my aunt to the Carrowinds.…

After three days of staying in Alcove Springs fully rested we set off for Fort Kearney. We were moving along platte river for five days everything fine and dandy until I hit a giant rock with my wagon which sent half our stuff in the wagon flying with a big, "clash". I first checked to see if my family was alright, which they were and then I saw the cat who got his tail half chopped of by the trunk crushing it. I decided to chop off the half of the tail that was crushed. As for the wagon, it was just a broken tire. I was lucky another person on the wagon train had a spare I told them I'd pay them…

Once inside, the braver kids ran towards the first rollercoaster. It zipped back and forth across the queue as fast as a bullet. Those sat at the front screamed the loudest, their eyes bulging like frogs, as the wind howled into their faces. Hands gripped the safety bars like a vice as the shuttle suddenly flipped upside down. One formerly cocky boy, immediately felt nauseous, his confidence knocked and his turned face a sickly green colour.…
