Personal Narrative: The Reform Movement

The reform movement I chose was the Abolitionist Movement. And basically there end goal was the emacipation of all slaves and equal segeration.But they wanted this to happen as soon as possible. This reform partly came from the second great awakening Which argued the emacipation on a religious stand.The people stated this was sinful in Gods eyes. These ideals became more popular in northern churches in the 1830s. And even though the Abolitionist Movement was primarly in the north there were still people in the south who were part of it.
