Mr. Hittson I totally apologize for Coltens actions. He is definately being raised better than that. I have had a long talk with him over this issue. I noticed this morning Colten seemed upset about something when he got dropped off. When he got into the school I texted him and told him to not let anything deter him in school if he is upset. He has been having girlfriend issues that I have been trying to guide him through and I think that is what has been wrong with him. He's usually not like this. He is being raised in a very good home with good guidance. I told him I will not tolerate him using profanity and disrespecting the teachers or the school. I also told him that in the future if he acts the same with future bosses, then he will be…

It had been such a long and hard journey. The long walks and difficult terrain, the materials and luggage we had to carry seemed to weigh tons and the sweltering of summer and bitterness of winter was almost unbearable. Not to mention how precarious the whole trip was, one wrong step and we were goners, especially by the natives. We ran into some Mandan Indians and they refereed to us as the pretty people, which I mean, who am I to complain? But not all encounters with the natives were good, we had an especially frightening run in with the Teton Sioux Indians. We were just passing through the river and they cornered us! Luckily their chief called them off and we were on our way. We’re coming back home and all so obviously the journey was a…

she played and started every game. The team was able to advance to nationals two out of the three years. Many memories were made with her teammates. One memory was at a home game, the gym was completely packed full of fans that supported Mesa university and the rival team, the Cardinals. Each year the two teams go to 5 five games, that are too close to call. The intensity in each one of the girls faces radiate and rub off onto the crowd. The amazingly talented author was wonderfully intuitive in his inner workings of the terrific story; the way he magically made me feel as if i was somehow in the wonderful story. I understand how the people were affected when their religion was taken away; I can imagine the pain in not being able to practice my religion. That would be a huge mental thing for me as I’m sure it was for them. Religion is something that helped them through their everyday life I would hate to have that taken away from me. Religion is what keeps some people going; when you take that away from people it takes a lot of determination to strive through that. They should've had amnesty in their doings and tremendous works.…

After that, we decided to meet up at Mooney’s Bay at three o’clock sharp. This was my first winter in Canada and I felt quite nervous about tobogganing. I was in second grade at the time and I was terribly afraid of the possibility of injuring myself. It was a hard decision, but I knew I had to go tobogganing one way or another, so I decided to go with Henry to Mooney’s Bay.…

Where you live defines who you are. This statement holds more truth than one may realize. Coming from a small, low income town, you see different aspects of life, and face many privations to reach your final destination. Often people who face struggles, tend to work harder to escape those struggles. However, they neglect to return to help others who face the very same struggles.…

Born and raised in South Paterson, I wouldn’t ask for anything better. As I walk down the block I notice how people that come from around the world can get along in such a small city. I would see people representing their ethnicity, backgrounds, religion, and even their traditions in many ways. From the flags being hung up and to the candles and Christmas trees that are lit; I enjoyed watching fellow friends and neighbors of mine knowing that they are proud of their own race. Coming from a busy city, I always called it the “glimpse of New York”. People view New York as a place where it’s full of activity. Correspondingly, the streets of Paterson are the same. Commencing the overcrowded produce markets and the NJ transits stopping at every…

Every year, my family on my dad’s side goes rafting down the Truckee river. It has always been a tradition to go to tahoe over the summer, and go rafting one of those days. Over the years, we have had many fond memories, like water fights with water guns, and pushing people into the water. First, we go down to the place to rent the raft, they set up our family with two, and then we go down the river until there is a bend where they take you and your raft out. At the end of the place where you can raft, there is a little grill that we would go to for lunch.…

Most of us walked through the front door of Lake Country between 8 and 9 years ago. Others of us came later whether it was 5 years ago or this year. The door we came through on the first day we came was the same door we continued to walk through almost every day, up until today. After tonight this might be the last time we walk through these doors, but some people will keep walking through them even after we leave Lake Country. The front dorrs aren’t just regular doors to us students, they are a gateway to all of the memories. These doors hold behind the first day of kindergarden, pictures that we colored with broken crayons and the place where we met our best friends. From the second grade aquarium trip to the Wizard of Oz play and the mideval…

Fall River, Massachusetts continuously listed in the top 10 most dangerous cities in MA and number 51 most dangerous city in the U.S. This is where I grew up. Reading stories about the city that gave me so much is difficult. I would not be where I am or who I am without it although. I grew up sheltered from a lot of the drugs and violence at an early age as I went to a private school. Even though I did not go to public schools, driving through the city with my mom we always saw the same homeless man on the same corner. I would often ask if we could stop at the subway that we drove by to give him a sandwich. My mom always had a strong dislike for Subway but we would stop and I would get a foot long so I could give the other half to this man that faithfully stood outside. So although I don’t think I understood the magnitude of the poverty and…
