Personal Narrative: My Writing In A Journal

I remember in sixth grade when I wrote a descriptive story about a made up invention from the future. My teacher loved it so much she read it to the entire class and I remember having such a proud moment. It inspired me to continue writing. My language arts teacher was a very influential woman who sparked my interest in writing. In class we would create portfolios, podcasts, and write various types of genres. Since then I've always loved English because it's a creative outlet where I can express myself and my work. No other subjects speak to me in this particular way.
