Personal Narrative: My Trip To The Beach
The sky was really grey and it was about five in the morning no one was up and it was bitter cold, it was a sudden change from the harsh humidity weather I lived in. We drove past many old victorian houses that was surrounded by trees, grass and weeds. Awe-inspiring. Very different from Hawaii, I was used to buildings after buildings. Canada, unlike Hawaii had beautiful trees and houses; I could stare at them forever. It had been about a year since Ive been on trip, especially since the last trip I was alone with my mother, this time my brother and his girlfriend decide to come with us .

Once we got off the plane the bitter cold morning air nipped at my nose it was different, I was flabbergasted as we got off the plane by stairs? Usually

We arrived to Canada, very disappointed, literally thinking there was a big fence on for the border, was an exaggerated idea from me. Aside from the first disappointment we traveled to the house we we’re staying at, my mothers friend. It was around five at night we started to walk to the Sky Train on the way there, people around waited smoking pot, laughing, and having a good time. As my family walked to the train I got distracted and found a couple of dandelions they’re were interesting and I’ve never seen them before, only on television.

We got to the Skytrain excited to experience the adventures that happens downtown, which was the best idea ever. We walked around a lot and saw a soaring bright colors, s popping and shattering in the sky, they were shooting fireworks. We rode a boat to another island to get closer and we we’re very hungry. It was very disappointing at the fact that even if we we’re at a different setting I still wanted Starbucks. We decide to go to another drinking place Tim Hortons. It was very pretty and had all kinds of food which was very smart and

Summer to me is the season of fun; the season where kids get to be outside play all day long because the day is illuminated by the sun almost until eight at night. I got to play all day and it was even better when my cousins came over, I especially enjoyed this season when I was little. I have four other cousins that are about my age so you can imagine how chaotic it was with six kids from ages six to ten years old being together. As all kids we looked for adventure with our imagination, we invented games, and our parents taught us games they played when they were younger. One game that especially stood out was a game called “hoyitos” or “little holes”.…

My absolute perfect vacation would most definitely be Italy. I'd invite my two best friends; Faith and Natalie, to go on vacation with me. My mom would also come along so we don't do anything stupid, or get lost. We'd all fly to Italy in our private jet, sipping orange juice because hey I'm 18! Trying to cram in as much Italian as we can, so we speak the Native language. When we probably…

I sat at the resort’s buffet with my mom, grandparents, and my brother, while we were relaxed and we enjoyed ourselves. I could smell the salt from the seawater of Gulf of Mexico, it was a rather odd smell, it smelt bitter, fresh, and clean all at the same time. The smell was somewhat pleasurable, and was very distinct. Every morning, in the resort, I woke up to the smell of it, which was something I definitely get used to.…

He always said he wanted to go out with a bang, I didn’t realize that meant literally. I remember the sound of the gun piercing through the crisp night air then the thud that followed. I remember seeing his body lying still with that signature sly smile creeping from the corner of his mouth as if he had just told a joke. His eyes were closed, dark red blood pouring out his chest and mouth, staining his clothes, sinking into the sand of the beach around him. I remember the screaming ambulance taking his pale corpse away. I remember going back to the cabin up the road and getting out the Phrontistery, finding his note tucked away in the back cover. “Travel for me”, it said. “Goodbye, kid”, it said.…

Today I left for Yosemite with my friends and our parents. It took us about 5 hours to get to get there. We took about 10 stops on the way. When we arrived I popped open the trailer and too a nice long nap because we got up at 3 am and left at 4 am. After my nap I met up with a couple of friends who were also staying in the campsites next to us who were also taking naps . We went hiking to Yosemite Falls with a guide to watch the water flow down. It was beautiful and there was a sunset which made it even prettier. Our guide who led us there told us we should make a list to follow every day we were staying. We asked what were the greatest thing to see. He said Half Dome, Ansel Adams Gallery Tuolumne Meadows, Mist Trail and Vernal Fall,Glacier…

Arriving safely in Florida felt amazing. My mom had told me my aunt and uncle would be waiting to pick me up and drive me to their house. They had a guest bedroom waiting to be my room for the whole summer. I said bye to my new friend Jaden and got off the plane. I made sure I had all of my luggage and that nothing has been removed. I walked to where my aunt and uncle said they would meet me. I was new to this airport so it was hard for me to find where anything was. I eventually ended up finding them of course, but I had to ask several people for…

Screams pierced through the salty, humid, California air. Intimidating rides towered above me, even the thought of riding them terrifying me. Thundering waves crashed as a backdrop for the “Belmont Park” sign that about touched the clouds. Excitement and anticipation coursed through my veins. My palms turned clammy and we made our way through the never ending line to get our tickets. Wafting through the light breeze was the sweet aroma of funnel cakes, cotton candy, and hotdogs. Looking around me I knew one thing, I was determined to go on the three most daunting rides, the Giant Dipper, a hair-raising roller coaster, the Beach Blaster, sickening my stomach at the thought of it and lastly the dark looming room of extreme laser tag.…

My adventure starts as I get on the Canada Line that glides on a rail to help my sweet escape from all kinds of troubles and concerns. Window sills of Canada Line frames around beautiful spring, entertaining my eyes with shifting scenes of blooming cherry blossoms and a milky way on a river that is created by opulent sunshine. After twenty or thirty minutes, when a familiar voice of announcement tells me the train is at the terminal station, I walk to the door with my fluttering heart.
