I think our class should go to South Carolina to see the sea life and going to museum's and learn about creatures that live in sand also to get a better view of the fish we will have to go swimming with them. Also it is not that long of a drive only 15 hours and 3 min to get there and with child protection laws we can take a breaks every 4 hours and while taking break we can save time by getting snacks and gas. It would not be that expensive to get there because with our class we can raise money…

One of my first and most enjoyable trips would have to have been my trip to North Carolina. Our family had gone down north for a wedding, our uncle was having. I was happy to attend and saddened when it was time to go back home. As we were packing I decided to take a walk around the area. When heading back I happened to spot something surring in the grass, thinking it was a rat I didn’t want to get any closer. To my surprise it was frog and I just knew he wanted to be friends, I named him Rocky…

received at this store was terrible. The sales associates were very friendly. However, the Store Manager Matt provided “Poor” customer service. My husband and I traveled to Carolina Beach for a weekend fishing trip on the pier. However, the night before we accidentally left our fishing rods at the pier. So the next day we had to purchase all “New” equipment. My Husband prefers only “Sham no” products. I google and saw that “Tex Tackle” near Wrightsville had the fishing rod he was looking for. So we…

I had been dreading the whole summer was finally here. My dad was making me go on a week long mission trip with my youth group at my church to North Carolina. I didn’t have a problem with going to church, but I did not want to go on this trip. First of all, I only knew a few people from my youth group and definitely didn’t feel very comfortable around them. It was also tough to give up a week of my summer for this. Not only that, but this trip made me feel disconnected to everyone back home for an…

think you won’t heal and will remain crippled forever. That major injury happened to me in South Carolina. I found a restaurant called ‘The Library’, and I strolled across the street to the sidewalk in front of the restaurant when I got the bright idea to jump from the blacktop to the sidewalk. I sailed through the air, about to land gracefully when I saw the sharp metal rod in the ground midair and impaled my foot one inch into it. I forgot about the incident after a few days, and it didn’t become…

There is no doubt that South Carolina is one of the few states making progress down south but to fulfill my wants/needs I needed to move here to New York. After months of contemplating I realized that for a chance to be treated as everyone else that I would need to make this change, I needed the money that work would bring, a chance to showcase my talents and living conditions near the plantation were harsh and unfair. I feel that this was the best decision to make at this point in time. Times are…

When it comes to spending time outdoors, my family prevails over all others. My dad sees every opportunity for a camping, hiking, canoeing, anything-outdoors trip and seizes it. Ever since I was old enough to walk, we have been traveling to visit national parks and hiking trails. I always enjoy camping with my family, but sometimes these trips don’t go as intended. This time, we decided to travel to Sipsey, Alabama. Briefer than our usual trips, we were only going to park, hike to a campsite…
