Personal Narrative: My Trip To Boston
I'm not sure what to do anymore, Abigail asked me to come with her to Boston. We do not have that much money and I'm really apprehensive people will come looking for us. Abby told me that everything will be alright, but we have already broken into Reverend Parris house none of this seems morally right. She threatened me saying if I leave or tell anyone she will kill me. We had been planning on leaving for about a week. She came up to me after one of the hangings and told me that we need to leave I asked why and she just told me to shut up and start packing discreetly. I listened because if I do not I know the consequences. We each told people that we would be staying at each other's house. We ended up meeting by an old bridge right

When I saw Abigail, I told her that I had made no promise to her during the affair after she declared that she waits for me at night. She said that I must still have feeling for her because she saw me looking up at her window. I admitted that I still had feelings for her, but that our relationship was over. Abigail mocked my wife, so I threatened to whip her. She started crying that I put knowledge in her heart, and she declared that I cannot ask her to forget what she has learned, that is, that all of Salem operates on pretense and lies.…

Walking up the drive towards the cottage, Sam thought about just how freakish it would be to be chased by a half-naked, bearded man. That sight seemed fitting to Sam, and enough of a scare to not bother the boys’ mothers. As he hobbled his way towards where the front door should have been, nursing what he thought to be a pulled hamstring, Sam took a moment to reflect on the splattering of eggs. The yellow yokes harshly contrasted the deep blackness of the wood shingles. He found the empty carton cast haphazardly next to the blank spot in the rock border. The Boston boy, having used the last of the eggs, decided to instead throw a rock in an effort to impress his new friends.…

I was born in Boston, Massachusetts on September 27, 1722. At a young age, I studied religion and law at Harvard University where I discovered my famous admiration for politics. After achieving my master’s degree 1743, focusing heavily on politics, I became indecisive with my path of career choice. Soon after, I began writing for The Independent Advertiser, a radical newspaper, where I could express my opinions about British rule anonymously. Unfortunately, the newspaper had little success due to the lack of following amongst the mass of citizens. Nevertheless, I was beginning to be a “visible popular leader who would spend a great deal of time in the public eye agitating for resistance (Kindig, 1995).”…

When I was 10, I moved to Boston to live with my mom, and brother and sister. At first, I had a lot of anxiety thinking about what my father had done to me. I would try to hide it from my mom, but she could tell. It was great to be back with my brother and sister. Over time I became less anxious and less angry and I started to become interested in computers ever since we got separated, things that did not exist for my sins I was way playing with my brother and my sister.…

One of the oldest questions in philosophy is whether humans have free will. When I look in retrospective, my journey to Miami makes me wonder is everything predetermined. Ever since I was a kid, I had vivid dreams about a sunny beach, soft golden sand, palm’s waterfall, and beautiful girl who will love me unconditionally.…

Abigail is also accusing women of good repute, like my godly grandmother, Rebecca Nurse (Emotional). In the town if Abigail walks anywhere, “the crowd will part like the sea for Israel” (Pearson, 1296). Abigail is compared to Moses; our community has truly gone to the hell if this is true (Ethical). The town considers her a saint, and I only hope you have not been convinced of this yet. My grandmother is a godly woman and an innocent victim. She is being targeted simply because she was trying to persuade you to stop the trials…

“ Come and eat.” Joe,the leader of the trip, struggled to say because he was so tired, “Breakfast is going to be light this morning because we have along day head of us.” We all struggled to get out of our tents considering it was 5:30am and there was a mountain we had to start climbing in a half hour. All thirteen of us stood in a line like we did the morning before while we packed our lunches. The options available to us were an apple, cheese stick, peanut butter and jelly to make sandwiches, but only 2 per person, yogurt and 2 bottles of water. All of that would have to fit into a back pack with us the would be stuck to our backs for the rest of the day. “Time to load!” Joe shouted. We all got into the van that seated 16, single file until very seat was filled.…

5:45 a.m., Wednesday, Boxing Day, 2013. I was sleeping soundly in my bed when the phone rang. I could hear the sound of someone getting up to pick up the phone. Shortly afterwards, I could hear the sound of weeping. I heard my Mom tell my Dad that Oma had passed away. Two days ago we had received word that she had fallen on her back and suffered a concussion. The fall might have been caused by her struggle with Alzheimer’s.…

One of the most memorable moments I have experienced was four years ago, when I traveled from Matamoros, Tamaulipas to San Antonio, Texas. I had the opportunity of visiting San Antonio for the first time, and more importantly, of spending time with my family who I had not seen in years prior to the trip. Spending time with my family is of great value and importance to me, so I became utterly excited to see them as soon as I had the chance.…

The night of April, 18, 1775 I was abruptly woken up by some random man running through Boston yelling “The British are coming, the British are coming!” I was not very happy of getting less than a hour of sleep. This weird man came through around 10:30 PM and woke everyone in the town from there sleep. At first when I heard him say that phase I did not know what he meant by it. I then gathered with my neighbors outside and was told if I wanted to fight the British I had to sign my name on the books in the city hall later that evening. When I went to that meeting later that night they told me to go home get a pound of bread a flask of water and my gun, and to also get a little rest and when the drums sound go stand on the green. So I went home and rested a little and then said my goodbyes to little Johnny and Benjamin. Until we all heard the drums. I then went with my…

There’s a lot of great things I saw on my trip to Galveston, Texas. My favorite place there was the Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier, while I was there I got on the roller coaster… that was very interesting. There was kids scared to even get on it because a lot of different people were saying things about it. It was “scary” or maybe “you’ll fall off of it”, I was frightened. From far far away you can see the ships when you were around the beach. They looked sketchy, but, whenever I looked at it from far away I thought it was something else. I was on the beach and I was so scared because one of my good friends shot me a text and said:“You realize you’re at a place where there is sharks and a kid died there because of it a few weeks ago”.…

I am sure it happened as easily as this: We were sitting around the garage shooting the bull during a cold winter snap. Thoughts turned to motorcycle rides and things spring and summer. For once, it wasn’t me. Mrs. K was the one to mention going to California. We hadn’t taken a trip the summer before, and she said, “We ought to ride to California and take the PCH along the coast.” Probably, no one jumped up and started packing, but several certainly starting thinking. One mention leads to another mention which leads to final plans. For me, it was a dream I have had since I watched Then Came Bronson and spent my time reading On the Road. For all of us, we researched the trip and found places and things…

On Saturday April 13, 2013 I was walking through the parking garage on the USAA campus in San Antonio, TX to start my 4 hour work shift, I began to go through the turnstile and seemingly startled awake a bat. This bat began to fly and squeal in fear. It darted at my head getting caught in my hair a couple times. I started to scream and flail my arms about trying to fend off the nocturnal flying mammal in fear. During what seemed to be forever I was able to unlock the turnstile and exit the entry way but not before rupturing two discs in my neck. This incident caused quite the turn of events in my life. I had been working for USAA for 3 years and truly loved it there. I also lived in a beautiful apartment with my mother and two children and…
