Personal Narrative: My Team Collaboration
Depending on my experience, I will be most possible to succeed when I am in a team that can accurately give assignments to the right person, can provide platforms for members to effectively communicate with each other, can provide immediate response from the supervisor and can provide a fun but not casual office environment.
One of the example may be my team of presentation which was about change of women’s life when the manufacture industry entered a developing country. In the time of preparing this presentation, I was assigned to collect the data from several Asian countries and to draft the material used in the presentation. I completed my job very well because I was familiar with these Asian countries. That means the assignment was gave the right person. …show more content…
We could conveniently have meeting every 2 or 3 days, and library of university provided the place and most of tools we needed in the meeting.
In addition, the environment of library restricted our minds and helped us focused on our topic. Therefore, even though we were familiar with each other, we would not spend time in casual chat in the library.
This team project finally finished at one week ahead of the deadline, and earned the A grade. I’m proud of this presentation and claim it is the best work environment I have experienced although only 3 of 4 points of my favorite work environment were
