Personal Narrative: My Suicide
I am so happy and at peace with myself! The game is over and I have won. It has been so much fun killing each person in a new and creative way. As I have written many times before, each deserved to die and I was the perfect person to do it. Without me, justice would never have come to these murderers!
Now it is time for me to die as well. But I will not wait for my illness to slowly kill me. I must be in control! I have devised an elaborate plan that my suicide will look like murder. Once the authorities discover the bodies, no one will be able to figure out what happened on Soldier Island.
Oh, but what fun is creating a work of art if no one knows you are the artist? So before I die, I will let the world know of my master plan. I know

Yes, I did kill myself seeing as you weren't planning on taking your last bow any time soon. Alas my attempt to escape from you and your contemptible sex failed when you and Laertes dived into my grave and started wrestling each other; proving no peace even in death. Men.…

This is a really good topic. My first job in nursing was in surgical oncology, which was a very mentally and emotionally challenging field. My oncology patients would range from young adult to elderly. Some would confide and tell me how they wish their illness would just take them to end the suffering. I would find myself so torn and wonder how I would feel if I had a sickness pretty much ripping the life out of me. Part of me thinks I would want to give up as my patients expressed and explore option to end the suffering, such as physician assisted suicide, but part of me thinks I would want to fight.…

Throughout my life, I have faced a number of crucibles but one, in particular, is more prominent than the rest. About five years ago, my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer, a traumatic experience that affected my entire family. Each member of my immediate family chose to deal with the news in different ways, however, I am the only one that elected to live in denial. Sadly, the only way I knew how to cope with such devastating news was to continue living my life as if nothing was happening. Denial is simply unsustainable as you cannot escape the memories that the crucible has formed. Nevertheless, years after my mom was originally diagnosed I began to appreciate the experience for what it was rather than shy away from it; developing hardiness.…

Today is one of those rare days in which it is raining and I’m sitting on the windowsill waiting for a sign. Something that says ‘move on’. There is still a part of me that hopes every day that you're alive and I haven't found you yet. I will have searched the far corners of the earth before I let myself believe you dead. I dream of you every night, then wake with the bitter taste of regret fresh in my mouth. You abandoned me. You have marooned me on this earth, and it is dark without your light by my side. All that fills my mind is when you were still beside me. I distinctly recall one summer when we were not quite children anymore and still too young to be adults. It was raining so hard that the streets were flooded for the first time in eighty years, and you had insisted on escaping to the desert.…

Filled with nervous excitement, my ten-year-old-self ran to the bulletin board eager to discover whether or not he was accepted to the choir. As he read the list of who were chosen, his heart sank; he was not on the list. “Maybe I should give up singing ” he thought; “Maybe my voice is not good enough”. However, he refused to despair; he was determined to achieve his goals despite this failure.…

As I reminisce a couple years back when someone used empathy to resolve a major issue I was having with my life, many techniques in the issue were used that I now could easily differentiate. I was driving my car with my parents in it and accidental made a wrong turn and my car had spun out and killed my father, I was in great depression and did not know what to do as I was the one to blame for this tragic accident which cost my father’s life. The pressure and anxiety were building so much form the event that I had only thought of one thing which was suicidal attempt to kill myself and ends this miserable. Until one day I had a visit from…

A time when I experienced extreme failure was when I was in my sophomore year of high school. When I started the year, I had the mindset of, “This is going to be easy. I’m not going to sweat it.” Reason being, in my freshman year, I passed all my classes easily and I thought the next school year would be the same. I was in for a rude awakening by then. It was my first year starting an AP class and I heard stories that it was going to be easy if one paid attention in class. As the first semester went, it was a struggle already. I had easily underestimated the workload and found myself barely passing with a C. I have the type of personality where I put a lot of pressure on myself and stress out easily; as one can imagine, I was very hard on myself.…

The first time in my life that I ever experienced true anger and fear was in the sixth grade. A little before Thanksgiving Break, I was diagnosed with malignant melanoma, a type of skin cancer, in my lower back. I had a mole there that was removed earlier that year, and the test results on it had come back positive. I did not find out until later, but when my mom sat me down across from her to talk, I knew something was wrong. It was then that she told me what was going on, and I broke down in tears. I had never experienced fear such as I did then.…

It was a perfectly normal Saturday night, until I sat on the couch. I expected to enjoy a funny movie with my dad, but instead I got a trip to the hospital. I sat on the couch, and then I felt a sting in my elbow. At first, it felt like I got a shot at the doctor, but it slowly got worse, and felt more like a knife slicing into my elbow. I winced and sprung up from the couch. I squinted and my eyes scanned the spot where I just sat down. Aha, I thought. There was a small piece of plastic, and it looked like it broke off from a container.…

Failure is one word that no one wants to hear. It is something we all fear and hope to never experience, yet is a part of all our lives. We fail math tests, English essays, job interviews, progress reports; we all fail something. These are all easily measurable, tangible failures with calculable consequences. However, failure is defined as “a lack of success”. This “lack of success” extends much farther than just tangible actions. The biggest failure is when we fail ourselves.…

So I researched in myself what art means to me. Since art deals with paintings, music, dance, architecture, drama, sculpture and literature, I can consider myself as an artist. Why? ‘Cause I’ve been singing in the choir of our church, I love doing and making artworks even if I’m not that good, I enjoy dancing, and so on and so forth.…
