Personal Narrative: My Relationship With A Football Team

Though I was athletic growing up, I was apprehensive of trying my luck at different sports, much less a unique one like Ultimate Frisbee. Once I started, however, I was hooked. I fell in love with the sportsmanship and the energy of the game. After playing through middle school, I was disappointed to hear that my high school didn’t have an Ultimate team. So, freshman year, I began to charter a team and made great progress until I tore the ACL in my left knee. I continued working on my club until sophomore year when I was accepted to IMSA.
