I can see this internship at State Farm affecting my career goals in a positive way as it will provide me with many experiences that I have never been exposed to before in my life. In the STEM academy I have learned how to work with others to accomplish one goal and how to present our achievements to our peers, however the experiences that can be obtained by interning for a major employer is such a different experience than a school project and presentation. These experiences can affect my career goals in the technology field as this internship might determine whether I want to continue my studies or switch to another field before it is too late for me to do so.
