Growing up can be challenging even with the ideal surroundings. Your teen years are even more puzzling because you seem to be stuck in between being a child and an adult. Throw in not having a father or mother around and life gets difficult. The year 2001 was a difficult year for my family and the nation. My life growing up wasn’t picture perfect, but in one very long month I learned that kindness from those around will help you endure and survive.…

Characteristic and traits uniquely differs from each person, but it’s not difficult to find common ground. You can always find similarities, as well as differences, within personalities, ambitions, and interests. When you get to know someone, you realize how each person is a distinct human being, in their own right.…
What I can say about myself is that I possess quite a few unique qualities. I might not be a silver knight winner or valedictorian of my class but I have life experiences that many may not acquire in their lifetime. I also possess the diversity of more then three different nationalities which I see as a great business or economical asset for the area of study I plan to go into. Not only do I have knowledge of my parent's but am also fluent in Hebrew, Finnish, and English.…

When I am out of high school my goal is to further my skills I have learned in this academy, by working in a hair salon or beauty parlor that specializes in hair coloring and makeup techniques. After I am comfortable with what I do, I hope to accomplish working for weddings, movies, or plays, by doing hair and makeup.…
Another one of my comforts, in the Beasts castle, besides roses and the salamander’s gift, is a heart made with my sister Lionheart’s hair. It reminds me of both of my sisters, Lionheart, who’s hair it is made out, and Jeweltongue, who made it. We have been through so much together, but we got through all of it. We got through losing our finances, going from our grand home and lavish dresses, to the Rose cottage and dresses made from curtains. We got through losing our mother, and, and we would get through me being away from home together. I missed them more than anything when I left. Lionheart’s roar, her baking abilities, her all around loudness. Jeweltongue’s beautifully weaved wordings, her skill to turn a tattered dress into one made…
When asked in class every year which subject I admired the most, my answer was always “none”. Although the grades in my core curriculum classes were always excellent, I never found interest in the basic subjects. Math was a bunch of numbers with letters, science just reviewed our bodies and the how the world was believed to be through one scientist theories and history repeated itself, constantly. As a freshman, I contemplated tremendously over what major and career I would pursue for the rest of my life. I never knew there were more subjects than just science, English, math and history until the day my mother introduced me to unraveling my creativity in the summer.…

Everyone has something about them that makes them unique, whether it’s not wanting to step on the cracks while walking because you’re scared you may break your mothers back or not eating green things because well their gross; we all do things others might consider weird. Mine is giggling! Being the younger of two older brothers I never really got to say much, so I would sit in the stroller and just watch and giggle because they would always do silly things. As my brothers got on rides I wasn’t tall enough to get on at Disney I would wait crying because I felt excluded but after they got off the ride and walked up to me the tears stopped and the giggle started. Everyone knew my giggle growing up, my mom used to say she could…
Something that I am the most proud of is when I made my fist cosplay. All my friends from high school are into cosplay; some of them even won awards for it! I had thought I was too unskilled to join in, and procrastinated dabbling in the art. However, this Halloween I finally decided to try it out by dressing up as Professor Layton (from the Professor Layton video game series). The most important aspect of the Professor was his signature top hat, which I had to figure out how to replicate. I consulted some online sources, some of which cited places where one could buy similar hats, but in the end, I decided to make the hat myself. I found a few tutorials on how to do it, but I ran into a problem: both tutorials required sewing, and I didn’t…
Ever since I was younger, I possessed unique individual qualities. I was always the girl in class who always reminded the teacher about homework, the one who never missed an assignment, and the one who always made the honor roll. In fact, I never settled for mediocre because I knew one day it will pay off. Throughout my educational career, I’ve learned that being yourself is the key to becoming successful. The world is filled with people attempting to duplicate someone which is why I’ve always pushed myself to be unique. I devote much time in expressing my individual capabilities. Whether it’s singing on the choir or going more in depth into my spirituality; I always leave room for me. I am a firm believer in devoting my time to my individualism. When a person knows there inner-self and can come to turns with their problems, it shows a high level of maturity.…
I have many reasons that make me unique. What exactly are these reasons? Well my friends make me unique because I learn from there weird, unique ways. I also learn my unique ways from my family's traits. Another thing that makes me unique is my actions and what I like. For example, my sarcasm and jokes make me unique and sometimes funny. I also like playing soccer and the ways I play make me unique. Another thing that makes me unique is my drawings and paintings, My drawings can be filled with creativity and weirdness. Same with my paintings. Most of all, my dislikes make me really unique and weird. For instance, how I don’t like Miranda Sings. I really think she is annoying. Another thing is that I dislike math and baseball. First off math…
Time to start doing my make up. As I sit down and start getting everything I need out. Getting out my foundation, contouring kit, eyeliner, etc. Pouring a little bit of foundation onto my hand, I use a beauty blender to gently dab it onto my face. Angrily blending it as if my skin held all the answers of why parents just don't understand. When I get done blending I started to contour my face. Using my make up brush to softly paint my face and blend the contour in.…
