Personal Narrative: My Group Forming Experience

My group forming experience begins every new school year when the math and business teachers come together to form the math/business department. The school has several departments but this particular department is headed by me. This year is comprised of twelve members. This is quite lagre according to S. Robbins et al, (2013) who states that the most effective teams have 5 – 9 members. Most experts suggest using the smallest number of people who can do the task. So there in lies the challenge. The forming stage puts together all the teachers who teach math and or business. The leader is selected by the principal.
