Challenges that I am experiencing are finical needs and time availability. With family and other finical obligations, mean less time available to do school related work or to do other things outside of school related work. Cost of education is challenging to anyone. Books, supplies and tuition all adds up. Because of the program that am in, I had to cut back on my work hours, which is lost in income. I have demonstrated determination in school when I have stayed up late to finish a project well instead of mediocre. I have also demonstrated determination because as a competitive rock climber I have spent weeks working on moves on a climb that was hard for me. I have also shown honesty when I have talked to my teachers about getting help on things I am not sure about or need help with. When I envision my lifetime goals I picture two things, a pristine white lab coat and a humanitarian award. The lab coat represents my goal to become a medical doctor and my hope to be involved with major medical research throughout my lifetime.
