Personal Narrative: My Educational Leadership Journey
I am Michelle Wiegand, and currently in my seventeenth year of education. My present role is sixth grade literacy at South Tama Middle School, where I have been for four years. School Law and Mandates is my last class for my Ed Leadership adventure; there are also a few internships remaining.

As of right now, I am not ready to leave the classroom. When I am ready to leave, curriculum or leadership at any level interests me; elementary or middle school would be my firsts thoughts. I am comfortable with all three levels, but each level has its positives. When I leave the class, depending on where I am in my life, it will depend on which unique challenges I would be ready to take on at that time.

    The reason my academics aren’t going well as you or I would like is because of the several family issues I’ve had to face during my high school career. It began my Sophomore year, I found out my mom needed surgery in her arm so the chances of her cancer spreading would be reduced.
