"Hey grandma I'm taking the four-wheeler, and going down the road and back " hollered Glenn.

Emma Drake my cousin yelled back, " I want to come with you! "

He yelled " let me go down the road first."

Then about five minutes later another family member came speeding in the driveway. He told us that Glenn was down the road and the four-wheeler was flipped over completely. So, my grandma called 911 and after she was finished we speeded down the road. When we headed down the road we heard the ambulance the ambulance sounded thunderous. The helicopter came with them too. They had to lift Glenn up in the helicopter. My grandma and papaw went with him. Before they left they called my aunt Julia Wolf. She hurried up and got to the

Then next day they called and said they were taking the tube out so we called our other family members and told them that Glenn wasn't going to make it. After they took the tube out we started planning out his funeral where we were going to have it and what we were going to have there and everything else a funeral needed. Then we had a funeral for him at the Reed Fork church. After we got there the pastor of the church started playing a song called He's in the House. When I went up there to see Glenn in the casket he had mud caked on his ears. Also, when I went up there I touched his casket and it was smooth. Then we brought him to our farm to bury him and it was a very foggy morning. After we showed up we waited about two minutes for other family members to show …show more content…

I don’t remember much about how my family died, I was just a three year old boy; Keenan Waren. All I can remember is it was Thanksgiving day with my whole family. I know it was this day because the smell of the turkey was burnt into my memory, and it’s also what the people at the orphanage told me as I was growing up. Something else I can recall is seeing a tall, bulky shadow holding a green flame in his hand after the lights shut off. Everyone was screaming, but I am still unsure of what was happening to them. My mom carried me out into the rainy night in front of the house in my carseat, and I was crying for the teddy bear my aunt gave me for my first birthday. I kept crying, so my mom covered me with blanket and ran back inside to grab it…

We all mourned together for the next few days. During those few days, I noticed how everyone in our family accompanied each other, and how close we all became. I remember that Monday just like yesterday. I was sitting behind the drill press fixing a wheel bushing on the neighbors Toro lawn mower. It was a ugly, red, piece of junk, but all the time my grandfathers sang keep echoing in my head "its your name on that job". I then hustled to finish boring the wheel to one half-inch diameter and began inserting the long brass sleeve into the wheel when the phone rang. I answered it was my grandmother, she sounded concerned, she quietly asked, "May I speak with your father." This was a rather new development because it was never my grandmother who called asking for my father it was always my grandfather looking for a hunting buddy or someone to help him work on his old, rusted, pink, 1958 Cadillac. I soon felt chills running down my spine I immediately shut off the huge press as it ground to a halt I heard my dad say Glessing 3 "oh no!" I had no idea what was going on could this be a fatal heart attack, or maybe a…

It was a perfectly normal Saturday night, until I sat on the couch. I expected to enjoy a funny movie with my dad, but instead I got a trip to the hospital. I sat on the couch, and then I felt a sting in my elbow. At first, it felt like I got a shot at the doctor, but it slowly got worse, and felt more like a knife slicing into my elbow. I winced and sprung up from the couch. I squinted and my eyes scanned the spot where I just sat down. Aha, I thought. There was a small piece of plastic, and it looked like it broke off from a container.…
