It was an amazing time and i was imagining me in the hall of fame and being one of the best baseball players ever. We get back to our dorm and we find out we are going to face. It was the best team in California and they were projected to win the whole tournament. We were all so nervous and trying to focus. We ended up winning the game 5 to 4 with me hitting 2 homeruns. We were onto the championship game. It was view online by thousands of people and everybody was watching us. It was the most nervous I have even been for a game. A lot of people were watching us and everybody was trying to stay calm and act like nobody's watching. That calmed everybody down. It was the 7th inning and it was a tie game. We were up to bat against a pitcher that was throwing 80 miles per hour. Our lead off hitter got on base with a walk. The next hitter got hit by the pitch. He got a base hit and the bases were loaded with no outs. I was up to bat and I was very nervous and was thinking not to try too hard and try to get a hit. My coach called me over and said “ Don’t be nervous, it’s just like a normal at bat, you don’t need be overly anxious and try to be a hero.” That helped me out a lot, I was calm and was trying to do nothing special. I was a senior and I was the number one recruit in the country. I had a lot of colleges that wanted me. It was the start of the season and I wanted to do the best I can. Last year, I had 28 home runs and 102 RBI’s. It was the best I have ever done and after that year, many colleges were interested in me and wanted to see how I did the next season. I ended up having an amazing season with 32 home runs and 127 RBI’s. Before the tournament for state started I had to make a decision of what college I wanted to go
