Personal Narrative: Kelsea Ballerini
My daughter has always been a huge music fan, especially country music. She follows many performers on social media and never misses a chance to watch an awards show or see a concert. Last year, she got the chance to meet Kelsea Ballerini, an artist whom she finds completely inspirational.

My mother had gotten us tickets to see Chris Young, but we did not know who the opening performers would be. After school, we headed out to the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, and we just made it in time for the opening of the show. When Kelsea Ballerini took the stage, my daughter was completely in awe.

At the end of the opening set, Kelsea told the crowd that she would be meeting with fans and taking pictures at the back of the theater area. My daughter begged me to let her go back there to get in line. While her brother and cousins were taking an opportunity to grab food and drinks, she waited, and waited, and waited for a chance to meet Kelsea.

She talked with Kelsea about what it was like to be a musician and about the performances that they had each participated in. She got her picture taken with her own phone, and called her brother over to get a picture with his phone too, just in case.

However, the next morning when she saw that Kelsea had “liked” her photo on Instagram, the world was right

However their biggest concert is coming up on December 13th, called Crazy For Christmas. It’s not a Christmas concert really, but it’s more of a holiday concert, although they don’t play any Christmas music, it’s all mostly their new songs and some of their old songs. The concert is being held at Regency Ballroom in San Francisco. The concert isn’t by seats it’s a first come first serve sort of thing. Regular tickets add up to about 36 dollars. However they also had VIP tickets, and only 5 platinum tickets. The VIP was also very limited because they were sold out in the first 10 minutes. There are still regular tickets available but they are almost sold out. Kalin, Myles and Jake also have another close friend Tyler Garcia, or Ty. He is the one who shoots them and all of their music videos and is really close with them. Everyone…
