Why is the world wrong? why is there so much injustice and inequality? Why is sky blue? We have been brought up to accept the ideas of the majority but never fully understanding the truth. I’m very logical and if luck exists how I have never got lucky, let me rephrase that. How have I never won the lottery? People will say to me don’t walk under that ladder, don’t put that horse shoe upside down, pick up the penny you’ll be lucky all day and beware of the dreaded number 13. I don’t believe in that. I don’t believe in something from nothing. I believe you have to do something to get something in return.
Most of us will be aware of the principles of karma. Karma is a central belief in Buddhism that nothing happened by accident; what happens to you is as a result of your own personal doing. Buddhists believe that good deeds create good karma and a good future. Clearly therefore, bad deeds create bad karma and a difficult future. They believe that this is why there is so much inequality. Someone said to Buddha "What is the cause, what is the reason, O Lord, that we find amongst mankind the healthy and the diseased, those lacking influence and the powerful, the poor and the rich, and the ignorant and the wise?"

Many ideas and interpretations are represented through out the entirety of literature. One of the many aspects that come with that are reinterpretations of those books or ideas in a multitude of forms, along with a multitude of ways. An excellent example of reinterpretations would be the bible, considering all the different readings that may be found saying almost exactly the same information. The only difference between the separate versions is the wording and sometimes the image that the readings may or may not give off. That being said a very talked about reinterpretation would be J.B. written Archibald MacLeish.…

Each and everyday people walk the halls of this school. You see people walking on the streets in their neighborhood. They are all walking forward. Why? That is what is normal. We have been doing it this “normal” way since humans could walk. Baby's first learning to walk don't walk backwards do they? No, they are biologically programmed to move forward. When deciding if I was affluent I put a lot of thought into this. I could be considered affluent to one who does not have any money at all, or no place to call home, but I do not consider myself to be affluent. I am a college student who was thankfully blessed with a full tuition scholarship. Instead of growing up with a wealthy family we were considered poverty level, my parents were 7th and 8th grade dropouts with the…
