Personal Narrative: How To Win Fantasy Football
What can I do to win fantasy football every time?

I chose this topic because I really like football. I also really enjoy fantasy football. I wanted to know how to always win in fantasy football. I wanted to know the best way to draft. I think the best way to draft was to draft wide receivers. That is a pretty good strategy for drafting, but I found one that could be better. I already know that drafting wide receivers helps because when I’ve drafted good wide receivers I've made the playoffs twice with one championship in three seasons. The one season I didn't make the playoffs I won the consolation playoffs. One thing I wanted to learn was I wanted to know more about team’s offensive lines. The only offensive line I know is really good

Everyday I did a lot. Here is my search journal. Day 1 I filled out 8 note cards on the best way to draft. Then I barely got started on my second question. Day 2 I searched theses 2 questions: How do I know who to start every week? and Who are the best players to pick up? When I searched those questions, google only gave me specific weeks. I asked Mr. Halvorson about the problem and he said to use the word strategy. That helped me a lot for the second question but not for the first. I was gone for research in class so I did some research over the weekend. Day 3 over the weekend I finished all of the note cards I grabbed. Most of those note cards were about some experts advice for fantasy football. Then I searched for resources. The resources were apps to help me win. I couldn't get all the apps because I ran out of note cards. Day 4 I finished writing down all the apps. Then I looked for tips for setting my fantasy lineup. It still came up with specific weeks. Mr. Halvorson then changed something, I’m not sure exactly what he did but I got a resource that gave me good information on that question. On my last day of research I got …show more content…
It says in round 1 I should draft a running back or wide receiver. In round 2 I should draft a running back or wide receiver. In round 3 draft a running back or wide receiver and in round 4 draft the one you didn't take in round 3. In round 5 draft a running back, wide receiver or a star quarterback. Round 6 draft a running back or wide receiver. In round 7 draft a running back, wide receiver, tight end or maybe even a quarterback. In round 8 draft the best player available, but if you don’t have a QB or TE then draft one. During round 9 you should draft the best player available or look for sleepers. In round 10 draft Stephen Gostkowski because he’s the best kicker. If he's not open then draft a RB or WR. Round 11 draft a backup QB, RB, WR or TE. Round 12 and 13 take the best player available. In round 14 take the best defense on the board. And lastly in round 15 draft the best kicker unless you already have Stephen Gostkowski (Michael Fabiano). During my search I also found experts advice on drafting your fantasy football team. Stacie Stern (general manager of Head2Head Sports) says the top three picks for the 2016-17 NFL fantasy season should be 1. Antonio Brown 2. Todd Gurley 3. David Johnson. Will Carroll (managing editor of FanDuel) thinks the top 3 picks should be 1. Antonio Brown 2. Odell Beckham Jr. 3. Julio Jones. Rick Wolf (president of Fantasy Alarm) says the top three picks

At the combine all 32 teams send scouts that evaluate the performances of these prospects, and will determine if these players could help their respected teams either repeat the success of the prior year or help the team improve. The NFL draft is a yearly process over a four day span in the selection of the top college prospects entrance into the NFL. The draft was initiated in 1936 with a reverse selection order, so that the worst team from the prior year would be selecting first, then the second worst team selects next, and continues till all 32 teams have been selected (Berri, Simmons). The reason the process was put in place was to try to even the playing field so that the worst teams would be able to select the best collegiate prospects declaring they are ready for the NFL. The scouts position can be one of the hardest front office positions in the NFL, because it is up to them to determine who they feel is ready to compete at the next level, and with the quarterback position being one of the most sought after, it becomes an even harder task when a team is resting their hopes on drafting someone that can lead them to glory. As in the article The Quarterback Prediction Problem: Forecasting the Performance of College Quarterbacks Selected in the NFL Draft,…

It may only take a couple of seconds for a college football player’s career or season to be taken away from him. Hundreds of college football players get hurt every year; most are sidelined for just a couple of weeks. Some players, however, lose their entire season and even careers to just one injury. When a player is not able to play the entire season, they may lose their scholarship. Standing on a football field’s sideline with an injury is one of the worst feelings a player can have. Normally, teams only have one or two players who can start at a position. Knowing which positions get hurt the most would be useful, because a coach or manager then knows which positions he needs to draft or recruit to his team, so there are more than one or two players capable of playing the position. If for example, offensive running backs are the most prone to being injured, a coach can recruit and train…
