Personal Narrative: Helping The Tenants Move
Helping the tenants move was my first priority once they found a home they liked. The tenants wanted to lock up the lease and move into the new residence quickly. Therefore, I cooperated with their timeline and performed the following task:

1. I informed the attorney of the moving dates so that the Notice to Quit could be completed and sent to the tenants as mentioned in the article Selling the Rental Property: Relocating the Tenants.

2. The new landlord requested a letter of recommendation from me. So, I wrote the letter and mailed to the new landlord. That step finalized the lease agreement and allowed the tenants to start moving their belongings into the new residence.

3. The tenants gave me the utility bills that they were paying.

The bank account that help the security deposit opened twenty years prior had to be located and closed. Once I located the account, I closed the account and deposited the funds into the estate account.

5. Once moved, I retrieved the keys to the rental property from the tenants.

6. At a time of the tenants choosing, I reviewed the property with the tenants. After the review, there seemed to be little damage and returned the security deposit in full to the tenants.

To complete the move, while attending to the above tasks, I handled the following additional tasks:
