Personal Narrative: Fall Trips

Fall trips is a time to get together with old friends and meet new ones. It is a time to be unified as a grade. 8th grade went to Kőzeg, and we had an amazing time. We went on zip-lines towering over the forests. We also went canoeing and did team-building exercises. But the most unforgettable experience of them all was going to the SOS children's village. Most of these children have a horrible past. But the point of going there was not just to talk about their harsh childhood, it was to have fun with them and let their worries float away for a couple days. 8th grade had a blast zip-lining while, at the same time, getting to know them well. I am so happy we got to spend four days with these kids, who, we quickly learned, we share more similarities
