Sammy was a ball hog, he didn’t like to pass he would shoot the ball every time he got it. He also preferred to not play defense. His coach was very strict with the team except Sammy. So one day in the hallways at school the kids on Sammy’s basketball team decided to beat him up so he couldn’t play that Fridays game. Sammy was out for Friday’s game and it was against their rivals. You should be the one who scores not your teammates.” He also said that, “there is no reason to play defense, my motto is defense wins games and offense wins championships. No where in my motto does it say you have to pass to your teammates!” So the next day the Jefferson Lions go out and lose there game to Glide 45-46, it was a tough loss but it was a good game. Although it was a long season for the Lions they ended up losing every game even to there girls JV team by 40. Sammy was devastated. He was crying all day and night over the embarrassment of the losses. As baseball came around the corner for Sammy and his team, the team was looking ok this year; a lot of people are saying they might actually win a game. It’s the first game of the season and the Lions jump ahead 6-0 right away. Then it gets to the last inning and the Bandits come back to win 7-6. The loss was too much for Sammy and he quit the baseball team. Everyone called Sammy a loser and a quitter. Then with no hesitation Sammy awoke from his dream and jumped out of bed to go tell his mom all about what had happened in his dream. His mom died with laughter, she though it was the funniest thing ever. Sammy learned to pass the ball all the time. Then that day Sammy and his team went on too win the state championship

Our first game was supposed to be right after christmas break ended, but we had a snow day so it was cancelled. I wished it hadn’t been so I could just get it over with, but i was gonna have to wait. We were scheduled for another game later that week. I woke up with a phone ringing and an answering machine saying that school was cancelled due to boiler issues. I sat in bed thinking I had once again gotten lucky and we had no game, I was wrong. We were…

I felt this sense of fear, but I knew it was just nervousness. It caused my whole body to tremble. I creeped onto the field and pass by the fifty girls and all of the coaches. Just me walking by everyone gave me this ginormous knot in my stomach, it made me feel like I was going to pass out right on the field. I was breathing heavy, like I just ran a marathon. I was beyond nervous just to be the new girl on the field. I was scared of what the girls thought of me, and how the coaches thought I would play and adapt to the sport. I had never even picked up a lacrosse stick and the girls were passing, catching and shooting on goal: how does a new player get to there if they were two week late into the season? I was terrified I would never get to the level of the rest of the team.…

In Photography, there are many different styles and techniques used, every single photograph is constructed; from the setting up of equipment, finding the model, producing the set, taking the images, and finally choosing and editing final images. You can also de-construct many images, and produce a narrative towards the photo, create a story and being able to produce a meaning in your own way, or what you think the photographer is trying to create behind the image itself. Photography is also a piece of art, not just a picture; every photo a person takes, produces a symbol in some way, such as a symbol in a painting, almost like a meaning. This is the same as a photo; every photo has a meaning no matter what the meaning is or if each person has a different meaning to the photo.…
