Personal Narrative Essay: The Legalization Of Marijuana

Marijuana is a powerful addictive drug, it will change your life from the first time you use it. It has no beneficial qualities for your health at any circumstance. Or at least, that was what I was informed from the authorities in my life till I was seventeen. I vowed to never speak to any of my friends if I heard of them using the abomination of a plant. I did just that on two different occasions and they were friends I had since elementary school. However, when I was seventeen I learned the true identity of cannabis when I saw it for the first time. I quickly observed in that moment how all the information I had been informed was untrue in many different ways. My hatred for this plant was instantly gone.
The first question in my head was,
What I was about to find was not just a benefit but a true blessing. I found a full medical case in the University of Idaho’s Library written by Edward Maa the Chief of the Comprehensive Epilepsy Program at Denver Health.
