Personal Narrative Essay: A Trip To The Lake
I am a 14 year old chubby boy that goes to Westlake high school. I enjoy devouring large amounts of food and going to the lake in our city. The lake is rumoured to have man eating otters surrounding the premises. I don’t like to go as much because I don’t like those scary stories about the lake and we usually run out of food at the lake. We’re going to visit the lake in a couple of days and I’m scared of the otters at the lake. I’ve been having nightmares about it every night and can’t seem to get my mind right and back on track because of it and I haven’t been eating as much as I used to. It is making me lose weight, my mom and friends don’t call me meatball anymore. I usually eat up to eight thousand calories a day and now that I don't eat much, I only eat 4 thousand which is too little for me. Right now I’m packing my food for the trip to the lake since it will take us about 2 days to arrive there and I don’t want another dog incident to happen. I am hoping that the story is fake about the man eating otters is fake and I can gain my weight back.

At this point, we were too petrified to move or do anything so we just stared. We turn to run, but we quickly got surrounded by them. They had a gang of otters come to attack our poor fat swollen ankles. The otters got to my friend first. They attacked his legs viciously, making small tears on his ankle, causing blood to gush out rapidly. They held us down by the lake. Our parents weren’t near by, my parents were cooking my fifth meal of the day. We were on the green grass and the king otter came up to us as his little followers held us down. He came up to my friend and

The trail continued around the east side of the lake entering a gathering of trees forming an insignificant forest along the lake’s shoreline. From our viewpoint, the trees concealing the trail eventually dispersed on the southeast side of the lake, and the trail blended into the landscape. Using our imagination, we envisioned the route against the rugged terrain sloping into the lake. No point in taking a vote now, we had trekked to the lake and the consensus was to proceed with a lap around the lake.…

This spring I spent two-weeks in New York visiting my daughter and her family. I spend a lot of time in the city, and I love it, not only because my daughter has chosen to create and raise a family in Brooklyn, but also because of its walkability. I’m not much of a shopper, but I do like to watch other shoppers, particularly those who dress as if they’d like to be watched.…

So we decided to go find somewhere to park the boat for lunch. Eventually we found this really cool cave that had plenty of room to put the boat under, and we got out the sandwich stuff. It’s kind of a tradition we have to have sandwiches when we go boating or snowmobiling. So we got out the bread, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, meat, and pickles along with the fruit salad, and Powerades. After I had finished eating I got bored and decided to go for a swim, so I cannon balled in, and the water was even warmer inside of the cave! I just laid back on my lifejacket and floated, it was so…

I live in a small city called South Lake Tahoe in the state of California. The people in South Lake consider themselves locals as long as you have lived here for more than 10 years. However, locals consider our city a town. Our town is mainly a tourist town, skiers and snowboarders in the winter and campers in the summer. When somebody moves to South Lake Tahoe, it may only be for a few reasons; to be a ski bum, get out of the bay area, or family. The people that move here either make it or they do not because of financial reasons. It is very hard to make a decent living here. To say it short and simple, a person can move up here with money or they learn to live paycheck by paycheck.…

I heard his screams ring out for a minute, and then everything went silent.…
