Personal Narrative: Escape From The Zombie Apocalypse
Escape from the Zombie Apocalypse Have you ever felt that your days has come and that it time for you to give up on your life and people that truly mean the world for you? An intense feeling that you wish you will never experience again. I have always considered myself as a brave and courageous individual. On May 5th, as I woke up from a wonderful sleep, I found that my house has been invaded by monstrous creature know as Zombies. They were over the fence of my backyard and I still needed to gather some important material before sneaking off my navigator. I said to the children, “Quiet down, get low to the ground and do not let them see you!” The kids were extremely frightened, but there was no time to freeze with fear. I had to get out of there with my family as soon as possible. I knew they would find their way inside the home in a matter of minutes; so I quickly grabbed some weapons, knifes, bats, and anything sharp or hard I could find I my surrounding. There were a few items valuable to me that I did not want to leave behind, but most of those items had to be left. There was only time for the bare necessities. In this case, our cell phones, chargers, and a …show more content…

I came into the hallway, snuck to my bathroom, and grabbed the cleaning sprays as my method of protection in case any one of them came to me. I knew the spray wouldn’t kill the monster, but it would hopefully detract it long enough for me to get away. Once in the kitchen, I grabbed the biggest knife I could find and starting up packing up whatever non-perishable food items I could find. There was not enough time to collect the water that I had hoped for, but I grabbed some water bottles to use for filling up water when the opportunity was

Boom! The vicious, metal monster clasped down on its next victim, drawing the helpless people further into the depths of its massive body. The monster slithered like a ravenous snake as it pulled its prey along. The beast flew high above the clouds nearly touching heaven and then bolted like lightning towards the ground faster than the speed of light. As it peered over the edge of the cliff, I saw the monster look me in the eyes and scream much louder than any noise I had heard before. In my mind I was in line to sign up for my death sentence.…

It’s 8:02 a.m. on a soggy morning. After raining buckets for days, everyone’s mood is glum. While serving your children breakfast before shooing them out the door to school, your husband finally sleeps after a long night shift deep in the bowels of the Buffalo Creek coal mines. Minutes tick by and your only thought is getting the kids out the door on time with all their books and school supplies. Suddenly you hear a noise so foreign and loud, it takes a moment to register which of your senses is picking up the signal. Today is one of those rare days in which it is raining and I’m sitting on the windowsill waiting for a sign. Something that says ‘move on’. There is still a part of me that hopes every day that you're alive and I haven't found you yet. I will have searched the far corners of the earth before I let myself believe you dead. I dream of you every night, then wake with the bitter taste of regret fresh in my mouth. You abandoned me. You have marooned me on this earth, and it is dark without your light by my side. All that fills my mind is when you were still beside me. I distinctly recall one summer when we were not quite children anymore and still too young to be adults. It was raining so hard that the streets were flooded for the first time in eighty years, and you had insisted on escaping to the desert.…

Life wasn't easy living as a serf in 1352, the plague epidemic was getting stronger, but we had cures and preventions-or so we thought. Every day I woke up with a heavy head and heart, knowing that my only way out was my inevitable death. I worked and lived on a small manor with my noble and some other serfs. Most of the day I would do some simple farming, but when other people died, I had more responsibility. The only good part is that I got more pay for this. We had our ways of keeping safe from the plague epidemic, but apparently, we weren't safe enough. Most people prayed, hoping God would keep them safe. Other ways that people would keep safe included eating emeralds, aromatherapy and other forms of medicine…

As Ponyboy and I walked into the park, I knew something bad was about to happen. I could just feel it. My stomach was in knots and I just wanted to go home into my warm bed and just sleep. But I knew that wasn't going to happen, not right now. I knew I was right when the Socs came towards us with their blue mustang and their loud obnoxious voices. They got out of the car and started staggering towards us. They were drunk and looked terrible. We had two options run away or fight back. I was leaning towards the first one but sadly I knew that wasn't going to happen when I saw we were surrounded by five drunk Socs. They wanted to torture us, not only that but kill us, they wanted to get their sweet revenge on us. They grabbed Ponyboy and stated…

Last week I spent time packing up boxes and moving things around the house. In the process, I started pulling things out of places where I had stashed them for safe keeping, forgetting that I even had these treasured items. While I was in this Spring cleaning frenzy, I opened a closet, no different from an attic or shed, and found an old forgotten box. When I finally managed to open it, a little disaster punched me right in my face, figuratively of course, but it got me thinking.…
