Personal Narrative: Disney World
As I am not a super religious person anymore it is hard for me to find any religious “portals” that I can think of. Perhaps it could be as simple as when I walk into my garden. When I go there it is very peaceful to me. Being in my garden makes me feel at peace and almost one with nature, as I am tending to my garden.
Another “portal” that I can think of would be at Disney World. When you are standing in line to get into the park in the morning when it first opens up. It is a bit crazy when you are on the outside of the gates, but as soon as you go through you are transformed into a child again. Seeing all the Disney characters and riding all the rides, will bring most people back to their childhood and a simpler time in life.
