Personal Narrative: Beat Rhys Haze
I have an opportunity to be a world champion and all I have to do is beat Rhys Haze and then go on to TLC and beat Vega and Diamond and then I can lift that belt over my head like I’ve done so many times before. When you’re the World Heavyweight Champion opportunities come with it and I wanna be successful I'll do anything and everything to be champion even if it means snapping the dreams of Rhys Haze well be it. I’m going to walk out there and give my all and I do that every day and every day I show why they call me amazing and when I step into that ring I am better than anyone else in that ring. Thanks for holding the mic Alex now get out of here.

“We all have dreams. But in order to make dreams come into reality, it takes an awful lot of detrimination, dedication, self-discipline, and effort (Jesse Owens, Olympic Trackstar),” I do not fear the unknown; I fear the day I stop trying to be the best. I cannot change that currently, people are faster than me, but that shouldn’t stop me from taking lead and becoming the best. Each time I race, I think of the pride I will feel afterwards if I give it my all, to take home a win, but also I think of the shame and humiliation I will feel if I don’t. Even if I am not currently the best, I know one day my hard work and mental toughness will pay off in some way, because it’s how badly I want to be the champion, and that is what I work for everyday of…

The person I am choosing to describe is my best friend, Matt Wotring. We first started talking near the end of July of last year, but didn’t really become friends until we hung out at a mutual friend’s birthday party at the beginning of October. Over the course of the past year, he and I have continued to grow closer and spend as much time together as possible. He has one of those charismatic personalities that is hard to find in the present world. He is very close with all of his family – and believe me, he has a lot of family living nearby – and is probably closer with his cousins than he is with any of his friends. He is currently a senior a Calvary Christian Academy and plans on continuing his education at Frostburg State University, majoring…

There has been many cases in which I have helped an outsider feel welcome. One time in particular is when I played tag with this little boy at church since he was new and no one else played with him. Originally, I was outside eating candy and talking to my friends at church. I noticed that this little boy was standing all alone watching all the other little kids play without him. I thought that maybe he was upset so I went over to him and asked if he wanted the rest of my gummy worms. He seemed nervous at first, but eventually he started talking to me. I learned that he was five years old and he was visiting his grandparents for the weekend. His older brother was outside playing basketball with some of the other older boys at the church, and…

The crowd was cheering, their hearts bounding, who was going to win? Right then Max threw a punch, August, his opponent, was struck in the head, nocked unconscious. The crowd screamed with excitement. He had done it once again, Max won the mach. Of course it wasn’t a surprise that he won; after all he had never lost. This was Max’s profession, boxing. Though his parent never understood why his dream was to beat up people, they let him do it because they love him. Since he was young, Max had always had a deep fascination to the world of boxing. Even as a toddler, he was always stronger than two boys his own age combined. All this strength led him to want to work out. He went to work out at a gym for the first time when he was only nine. Now all this strength and power made him very popular at school, and who was he to say that he didn’t love it? His parents began to worry when he started to brag about his abilities. They were concerned that he would develop, well, a big head. They tried talking to him but it seemed like no use. He would listen and agree to what they were saying but he never would really learn. Life went on that same for Max, being popular at school but not so much at home. When he graduated high school he found a real coach to help him along with his dream of being a boxer. He worked and worked and then he got it, his very first match. He fought hard and won. As he did with his next match and the next, never losing a single match. He became very well known. Once again all the fame got to his head, causing him to boast and brag. All of this eventually caused him to be very greedy and selfish, particularly with his money. Max’s parents had spent a fortune to get him to where he was. They spent so much money that they had none left. They ended up selling their house and living in their car just to get by. They asked their son for just a little money, but he refused, Max…

As I was writing my personal narrative for my composition 1 class, it easily made my mind boggle. After I had got started on my personal narrative, it was easy for me to keep writing and keep following along the story line. The main strength of mine that the essay played to was my creativity and my flexibility for different writings, because I have never written an essay as serious and sad as this one, but I did have to add my happy ending when I finished the story. I wanted it to be very attention grabbing with a twist, but I also wanted it to be very emotional.…
