Personal Narrative: An Interview With Steffani Rogers

While interviewing my partner, Steffani Rogers, I discovered that there is more to her than most people would think. She is just about to begin her eighteenth year of life on February 13th. She also believes that her best leadership quality is her assertiveness and she told me her favorite color is red. She is a family oriented person that also is extremely passionate about her lifelong dreams. You may not have known that she is so ambitious to succeed and reach her goals. She is really looking forward to her career as the manager of the Grand Californian Hotel and Spa in Disneyland. She was a truly inspirational person to interview. Her desire to reach the goals that she has wanted, makes me realize that if people really do chase there dreams that they can reach there goals. When I asked Steffani “Who or what influences you?” she replied, “I think, I don’t really pay attention to who influences me well there is always your parents and then there are always people you see on television and kind of look up to, but what influences me the most is the future and what I could have in the future and so I try to focus on like I want to make a better future for myself so my decisions
She told said “My speaking and public speaking and being able to take charge when I was in the 7th grade I became a member of the city of fairfield youth commision and/or council and so I was the youngest I was 12 or 13 everyone else was like 17 or 18, but from seeing all the older kids and how they are acting it kind of helped me come to the whole leadership thing and that I need to be heard. If I want to be a part of something I need to speak up. That experience helped me a lot.” This just proves that Steffani has grown up becoming a leader.
