Personal Narrative: An Inspector Calls
On Thursday 04/07/16 at 2345 hours I was dispatched to a verbal domestic at
College Place Mobile #84 located at 31600 126th Ave SE in the City of Auburn,
King, WA. Dispatch advised the reporting person, Jairina Gonzalez-Villalobos, stated she and her husband, Erick Chinchilla-Aguirre, were in an argument.
I contacted Jairina and her eleven year old daughter, Jairy Gonzalez, outside her trailer (#84), while Officer V. Martinez contacted Erick and his son Angel
Gonzalez.
It should be noted Jairina only spoke some English, and Jairy spoke fluent
English, so some of my communication with Jairina went through Jairy.
Jairina told me her and Erick are not actually married but are in a dating relationship and have lived together for the past nine years. Jairina said she …show more content…
Jairina then explained to me that she called Police tonight because Erick was again demanding her phone, and also told her he was going to take her kids from her. I asked Jairina why she did not call the Police during the initial incident, and she told me she was trying to resolve things without police, and because she was scared. Jairina went on to say Erick told her "she would be sorry" if he ever went to jail because of her.
I spoke with Jairy away from Jairina to see if she would give me the same story without her Jairina listening to her. Jairy told me she saw Erick grab the front of Jairina's neck with one hand, and then grab her neck with two hands and push her down onto the bed. Jairy said it appeared that Erick was "choking" Jairina.
I asked Jairy if Jairina had told her to say these things to Police, and she said "no".
Jairy went on to add that Erick took Jairina's and showed her the phone, and said something along the lines of "look what your slut mother is doing". Jairy seemed to be very uncomfortable talking about what she had seen on the phone so
I did not discuss the phone with her further.
I spoke with Officer Martinez, and he told me Erick said he and Jairina had
