Personal Narrative: Am I And My Pet Giggles
I bet you all are pretty curious as to why I and my pet Giggles are taped to the wall. Well, let me explain to you how all this happened. Today my parents are going to a football game in Charlotte NC, so I had to stay home with my older brother, Caleb who smelled of reeky socks and old cabbage. I was so surprised they didn’t find me a babysitter because they usually would. I also think I know why I didn't get a babysitter, and that reason is because Caleb said he wanted to show my parents that he was responsible, but if he was me and Giggles wouldn’t be stuck on this wall. Anyway Giggles and I just saw my brother Caleb taste some old, moldy, green bread, I'm so nervous to see what he will feed me for lunch geez. It’s now going on 2:00 and I …show more content…
But luckily he had left quick enough to not see what we were doing. We got back to work as soon as possible. After Caleb left we saw him come back, it’s like he just won't go away, just like a Nat. I was almost done until Giggles fell off the wall, I didn’t know what to do because I was already stuck on the wall, so now we I have to do this whole process over again. As I'm trying to pull myself off the wall, the doorbell rings. I was so frightened because we were located on the wall right in front of the door. Caleb comes rushing to the door and turns out he ordered a meat lovers pizza, my favorite pizza of all time. I was hoping he was gonna feed me too, not to mention I hadn’t eaten ALL DAY! Finally, I had duct taped myself and Giggles to the wall, and guess who came home right in time? My parents! I then began to strain a loud heavy cry as my parents dashed over to me. They got me down, and held me, everything I had wanted before they left to go to the game. Later that night they talked to my brother about being responsible and how I got duct taped to the wall. He had no answer to none of the questions. As he walked out of the there room he threw a pillow at me, I just

I am not going to start this off with a quote because that's what everyone else is doing. I am Avery Peak and I hate doing things someone has already done. I like being creative in my own way, that's why I have a grain shoot for an exhaust in my truck and rolling on 37inch mud tires.…

Who am I? That has always been an essential question for as long as I can remember. I never really understood why we had to answer that question along the way, but I’m now a senior at SJPII and I still have no idea who I am. It really bothers me that for 16 years I still haven’t figured out who I am. Constantly going from class to class and making new friends I still can’t pin point who the “real” me is.…

One hot day in Frisco Texas I was outside on my sidewalk in the shade of my tree coloring with the new chalk I just got. I looked down my street because I heard the sound of a rolling scooter screeching down the road, and I saw Hadley’s annoying little brother coming my way. Hadley’s was my best friend and her brother’s name was Griffin which means a dangerous person from Middle English...Just saying. He yelled at me at the top of his lungs “I’m getting my water gun!!” I wasn’t going to let a 6 year old take me down,so I needed to think of a plan. Once I was sure he was gone,I sprinted to my garage to find a water gun. I quickly filled up my water gun with the hose and hid behind a bush.…

The social-emotional domain is most of interest to me. As Humans we interact pretty much throughout our lives, our emotions often play a large role on how we develop socially and how that ties to our emotions. From birth we gradually start to develop these relationships with the people around us. Over time this process of learning to communicate, share, and interact with others takes many years to develops. We continue to develop these skills into our teenage years, and even as young adults. So with that I do believe that the development in this domain is mostly a continuous one.…

Today is the day we are starting our trip. We have our wagon train ready to go now it's time to leave this crazy city. I have my oxen pulling my prairie schooner everything is going well until I bump into a fancy Conestoga wagon. The wagon wasn't to badly damaged, there was just a scratch, but the owner made me pay him sixty dollars. I almost knocked him out but I didn't want to start off our journey that way. Our first day we had plenty of problems including the little accident earlier we had to dump some of the tools we doubled up on because of an over load issue. I was mad as the dickens because I was looking forward to using those tools. They costed us a pretty penny as well. We made camp after 25 miles for the day. We made a horse shoe…

As a particularly curious and proactive member of society, I consider myself to be civically engaged; although the degree of engagement can be argued. Personally, I believe that small things make up the larger picture, so my engagement is mostly interpersonal, as small interactions can set of chain reactions. Speaking out on issues with (or to) friends, politely engaging strangers in conversations and presenting different points of view, and constantly seeking to better myself is how I remain aware and knowledgeable on current issues, and also how I continue to learn new things and refine my thoughts. Not everyone is born to take center stage, and so we must all strive to do what we can, even if it’s simply a few words of encouragement or a…

At times I feel as though I'm trying and failing to be a human being. But what makes us human? I feel although I'm a human-shaped shell made out of pieces of things I find interesting. Instead of a real identity. Just layers of things that I hope will make me different from others. But am I? We rely so much on the opinion of others. But why? Why do we crave acceptance of others? If people were to look closely, they'd notice there really isn't anything there.Just a mess of a person trying to find their ‘place in the world. All we want is to be remembered. Just to prove we are something , we where something. How will I be remembered? Or will I fade into oblivion? Is this the meaning of life? To spend it hoping we have some significance in this…
