When some people graduated from high school, they choose specific subject field in the university to study. One reason to this is because it gives them the opportunity to establish more understanding and knowledge to what they are interested in for their future career. For example, a graduate law student would most likely want to enter a law related job instead of forestry. People establish skills from what they learned. People also become more active if they are able to work on a task that they are interested on. According to John Holland’s personality-job fit theory, job satisfaction is based on a person’s interest. Their interests came from different types of personality they have. People will ultimately be successfully if they choose a job that best suits their talents and abilities. Therefore, being successful will lead them to a higher-paying job that gives them pleasure.…

I base my career choice on the need to learn, teach, and manage. When setting career goals, it is important to consider the career interest profile. The personality assessment describes my traits as a people person, creative, and optimistic. These traits are an important factor when managing employees and creating a positive working environment (Desiderio, 2011).…

Everybody has their own personality, values and interest that describe who we are and who we want to become. It is our own way of showing others what our purpose is in life, the career choice which best suits us and what our wisdom of words are for people to remember us by. My career choice was first an English Professor with a minor in journalism but now I am leaning more towards becoming a journalist. My personality, values and interests would go along well with occupations. My personality characteristics would benefit me well in Post- Secondary Education because I am outgoing, kind, helpful, friendly and warming to many people. I like activities that require working with people to teach them or help them in some way. I also enjoy the satisfaction…

Educational choices, career choices, choice to marry and the choice to become a parent are just a few of the life changing choices adults make that influences the roles they play. There are numerous studies of adults and what developmental issues adults encounter during their lifetimes and how these issues influence the paths adults pursue. A person’s personality type has a tremendous impact on the patterns of one’s behaviors. By knowing a person’s types we can better understand the personality differences between individuals and how they can affect adults in their education, careers and other aspects of their lives. Another element that affects adults during these stages of their lives is how they learn. Everyone learns in different ways and recognizing how you learn best and how to broaden your learning style can be useful throughout adulthood. In understanding these issues we can better recognize not only our past adult transitions but also better recognize the issues we could encounter in later parts of adulthood. I think that the investigative part is really correct but the convention is not, I see myself-way more social than conventional. On the skills part it shows that I have a lot of organizational, leadership, and literary. Which, I agree on to the fullest about me being so. All people go throw many stages from childhood to the end of their life. They build their dreams to become something worth in their lives such as a teacher, doctor or anything else. The most important part of these dreams to become reality is to choose the right major. Many people said students should decide what they want to be before they start studying in university. I disagree with them because students at university get help from their friends or teachers to choose their career. In addition to that, many students are changing their decision of major when they start studying at the university.…
