As I have reviewed a few cases within the Ivy Tech Library, I have found that there is nothing that can be done at the specific time to resist unlawful police entry in Indiana. The matter of the unlawful entry in each case I studied had to be resolved in court or the Court of Appeals. The first case I wish to bring to attention to is Sandridge verses State, Court of Appeals. Two officers, responding to a phone call, are refused entry by Steven Sandridge. They forced the door open and wrestled Steven to the couch. At the couch Steven was chemically sprayed and cuffed. He argued in his appeal that he was wrongly arrested by the officers who forced entry without a warrant. The Court of Appeals found that entry was lawful under the Fourth Amendment: Article 1 Section 11 of the Indiana Constitution. At the time the police officers had responded to an emergency 911 call. The officers had no idea if someone was in danger, injured, or could injure another.…

“We, Ruben and Lisa, offer you live music, DJ 's, dance space and refreshments that suit your lifestyle. You are our friends, and we seek to build a community that meets regularly at Club IT." (Rainer & Turban, 2000-2013) This is the mission statement of owner’s Lisa and Ruben. Club IT came about after Lisa and Ruben graduated with degrees in Business Administration. Through college they both worked playing in a jazz band at local clubs while gaining insight on how a club is supposed to be operated. I believe that with the atmosphere Club It is creating that they will attract students, business travelers and tourist, and also young professionals. I feel that Club IT is most appealing to this clientele, as they need a place to eat and drink that is enjoyable, relaxing and entertaining. Also, the club allows for the switching of entertainment and it becomes more appealing as it gets later into the evening. The music offered by Club IT also attracts a wide range of customer bases.…
