Personal Experience: A Trip To Salt Lake City
I was so scared about going on my first plane ride. It was August 13, 2014. Last night I stayed awake the entire night thinking about a plane crash. In the morning I was about close to having a fever because of the sweat I had. If we made it to Salt Lake City, alive I would be happy. I felt really bad for my dad because we couldn’t afford a ticket for a trip to Salt Lake City and back. So my mom and I went on 1 in a lifetime around close to the Midwest. We went from Salt Lake City, Utah to Idaho, to Yellowstone, Wyoming to Montana to South Dakota and saw the following presidents heads, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, and Roosevelt. We went to the battle of Black Hills, then we went to the Snake river. Then, we left for

The date was June 14, 2034. I was flying to London, England with my private jet. It was a beautiful day. The clouds were puffy and white, the sun was shining, and there was no wind. Then all of a sudden, there was a lot of turbulence. The plane was going crazy going left, then right, then back to the left. My pilot told me to not panic and that everything is going to be fine, but I was having cold feet. The turbulence became so wild, the pilot announced that the plane will have to land on the nearest ground.…

I forgot to mention that when we left for our flight to California that was going to be my first time ever flying on an airplane. It was very exciting to fly, especially since it was going to be a long three hour flight. I felt like a little kid again when the flight attendant gave me my wings for flying for my first time. Not all people in the world get to experience flying, so I thought I was pretty lucky to get to enjoy this experience.…

It was unusually cold on this morning of September 11th, 2001, and my alarm had just went off. The odd but needed 5 am. was when I woke up, because my flight was going to leave around 8:30 and I needed to be there on time. The reason I was flying to San Francisco was I was having a family reunion with my dad, my step-mom, and my step-brothers. So, I jumped in the shower quickly with joy and excitement. I hadn't seen my family in forever since I had gotten a job as the assistant of the manager in Ralph Lauren Headquarters. I had just gotten my hair dried as I heard my phone ring. It was dad, making sure that I was on my way. I talked to him for a few minutes and then hung up. I glanced at the clock and realized…

I live in a small city called South Lake Tahoe in the state of California. The people in South Lake consider themselves locals as long as you have lived here for more than 10 years. However, locals consider our city a town. Our town is mainly a tourist town, skiers and snowboarders in the winter and campers in the summer. When somebody moves to South Lake Tahoe, it may only be for a few reasons; to be a ski bum, get out of the bay area, or family. The people that move here either make it or they do not because of financial reasons. It is very hard to make a decent living here. To say it short and simple, a person can move up here with money or they learn to live paycheck by paycheck.…

But when Pilot announced that we are about to reach to Houston in 30 minutes I got anxious and opened my seat window. When I looked Houston through plane window, cars on freeway looked like ants’ running in one line and that was really interesting to me.…

I had travelled all across the country, and seen things by first grade that most of my high school classmates still haven’t seen. The cross-country drives allowed me to see everything from Yellowstone National Park, to the mountains of Boulder Colorado, to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio. Driving around the country in a packed Honda Odyssey minivan gave me the opportunity to see so many national treasures that many people will not see in their entire life, which I am incredibly thankful for.…

After we went to the bathroom and changed our wet cloth to our dry cloth, we headed straight for the roller coaster. I’m not going to lie, I was afraid if most of them, but my big brother told me it’s not scary it is fun. That made me feel brave and bold. The first ride I rode was the Fiesta Texas, where you go up and fall straight down. I was terrified, but after I saw a five year old looking boy get off, I wasn’t going to let him be braver than me. It was finally my turn. When we were going higher, I could see the people as dots, I thought in my mind I…

When I was young I always dreamed of flying on a plane. Finally, my dream was coming true, and I was on my way to the USA where I had always known I would end up. This was my first trip on an airplane, and it was also one of the most memorable experiences of my life. I remember everything about my first flight, and it was a lot to remember since it took twenty-seven hours from start to finish. The fight did have one stop in Japan, but that was just to change planes. Once my parents and I got onto the plane and sat down, I started to look at everything around me. I noticed the small white air vents right above my head with little lights next to the vent. It was so great because the controls were right on my armrest. There was a place on the armrest to plug the headphones in in order to listen to music or watch a movie. After everyone got settled into their seats, the airhostess came over the intercom and explained all of the safety procedures. But I am going to tell you; I couldn’t understand what they say, besides staring at their body language. They also showed everyone how to put the seat belts on correctly. After the airhostess was done with…

My First Plane Ride The 21-hour voyage all begins when you step aboard the Boeing 747. For me this was my first plane ride. My parents and I were departing from LAX and our destination was Myanmar or Burma. I was probably 6 years of age waiting to see my relatives in Burma for the first time. Before we took off I was so excited, but when the plane started to take off my excitement turned converted to fear. Fortunately, about 2 minutes later the plane lost its slope and the roar of its engines turned into a gentle purr.…
