Personal Essay About Stress And Anxiety
Stress is something that every American faces. We face it secondly and minutely and hourly, daily and monthly. Sometimes the stress usually comes from thinking negative about something, over-thinking. It is something that is eating us up inside, taking away bits and pieces of who we are. Anxiety is something that is hard to get rid of. It keeps us on the edge of our seats because we are always wondering what would happen. When there is too much stress in our body, it starts to get in the way of lots of things like eating & sleep. It causes us to not pay attention to what is going on around us and have huge influences on grades in school as well. It causes many psychological problems in the future and detrimental to a person’s health.

I love being curious. I love wondering about many things. I love not being restricted when I’m curious. I love being able to think freely about anything and not having to feel bad for thinking about it. Being curious helps my education as well. I learn a bunch of new things when I am curious about anything. I would “Google” something I am thinking about and then I would find out more about it. I don’t have to worry whether what I put into Google is right or wrong (stupid). I feel more open to be myself to express my creative side.
Besides letting me be open with my creative side, living in the moment (the unknown) has brought me self- confidence. I know that it may sound stupid, but that is what living in the moment has done to me. I would always worry in school about which is the correct answer or not to successfully complete a certain task. Then I began to tell myself that it isn’t the end of the world if I don’t do well and that I can always retake it. Once I tell myself that, I became confident in myself with the answers I have chosen.
Living in the moment has improved my life in school and helped me become a better person. Overall, I became confident in who I am in whatever I
