Personal Credo Analysis

Let Their Voices Be Heard
According to Emmons, (2003), credo entails the beliefs that an individual or groups of people believe in, or rather the cues that tend to drive the acts of the parties. Thus, there are different forces that determine the form of credos that different individuals uphold. Such forces can either be imparted by internal factors or external factors of the individuals’ environments. External factors that can structure the credo forms include culture, traditions, religion, laws and trend of living for different persons. On the other hand, the internal individual elements that can structure the credos include passion, personal goals, personal achievements, faith, and self-belief among others (Giacalone, &Jurkiewicz, 2003).
It is my belief that for humanity to prevail, it is important for individuals to focus on the interest of other people, rather than solely focusing on personal interests (Einstein, 2006). This is the case since ensuring that the welfare of the other parties is enhanced will help to realize of a better living environment, thereby enabling the environment around us to be suitable for every person’s survival. Such aspects can be done by ensuring that one conducts his/her activities as per the expectations of the community to which they belong. The important aspect is that they should just align their deeds with the ethical standards of a given group, which should in turn be morally
All these elements are centered on the aspects of community involvement, enlightened living, and a life of productive work. Looking at a life of productive work, it motivates me to meet the professional standards of pharmacy, which can only be attained through performing well academically. I further have to put what I have learned to practice, by conducting any part time activity that can enable me to extend my services to other individuals, such as voluntary activities in health organizations which can be cleaning, handling health equipment, etc. For community involvement, I will be able to serve as a pharmacist, thereby enabling me to serve the community and enhance individuals’ state of health. Lastly, for the enlightened living aspect, I will be able to foster my capabilities in the health sector with the changing medical trends, thereby be able to be in line with any changes experienced in the health
