PERODUA

Background of the company

The company has been started operations since 1994. The first car they have been produce is “Perodua Kancil”, this car has been enter the Malaysian market in August 1994. “Perodua Kancil” is quite popular that time because the price of the car is affordable by Malaysian population.

Since that Perodua keep produce another car that call “Perodua Rusa” in March 1996. “Perodua Rusa” is actually a van that has a 1.3 litre engine, “Perodua Rusa” also is the first van to be produced by a Malaysian automotive company.

After success sales for their previous car, Perodua launch a new car called “Perodua Kembara” in August 1998. It originally came with 4 cylinders SOHC 16v. Maximum power 61kw and 105Nm of torque and this car looks more like a 4x4 car.
